"Living Danube Limes" is an Interreg Danube Transnational Programme project, which aims at connecting the Danube Region by its common Roman heritage along the Danube, the area of the Roman Danube Limes, the frontier zone of the Roman Empire. In her contribution to a 2020 conference organized by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Anna Kaiser from Danube University Krems, which is the lead partner of the project, presents an overview of the project and its four main parts. All this especially under the aspect of how archaeology, living history, tourism management bring together one of the most important cultural landscapes in Europe in one project.
