I am so grateful for this video and all these logic videos you do. Your explanations are clear and go into the why and how of each feature, which I appreciate. I’ve been looking for screen reader centric tutorials for some time. Now, if only there were beginning coding lessons for those using screen readers on the internet, then I’d be so set lol! Anyways, thanks again!

The solo button is just so in case that you have a song with 10 tracks or so and you want to hear just one track clearly by itself just so you can focus on that track.. You can solo it and only you will hear that track by itself and you can do your editing and stuff. And then you can on solo it so you can come back to all your tracks playing at the same time. it is a very useful button.. I use it a lot when I’m trying to mix everything down after I’m done recording everything. period Sometimes the sounds can be very with the whole mix and you can’t hardly hear everything. So what I do is that I use arrows up and down to change tracks and once I find the track that I want to edit. I pressed the S button on the keyboard to solo it or I also go to the mixer section and press on the solo button and then I start bringing the volume up or maybe I put some EQ to it or maybe I put some effect and then I go ahead and un solo it and listen to it to see if it sounds better and I can keep solo it and un solo it. Until I am done with the track.. Sometimes I use the M button so I can mute it too or I go to the Mixer to mute it. In case that I want to hear the song without that track. Maybe my vocals. Anything you want you can mute or solo.. Hopefully this information is useful. God bless you.

Thanks for making this content. I’m intending to do the same for Final Cut. For anyone who is used to VoiceOver, you can skip to you six minutes and 55 seconds but always appreciate these tutorials thank you so much

Excellent introductory video. A couple of observations based on my experience: in the create new tracks section of your video, you mentioned the ascending checkbox. If you create multiple tracks, outputs will be automatically assigned in ascending order if that ascending check box is checked. This of course depends on the number of outputs your sound interface has. The same goes for inputs which is really cool because you don't necessarilyneed to assign inputs to tracks after creating them. I find this very useful when I am recording drums for example and I have eight microphones. I would typically choose eight tracks and then I check the ascending button in the inputs, so if my first track is assigned to input one then the other seven will have their inputs in ascending order, [inputs two through eight]. The other observation has to do with the replace button. If this button is unchecked, every time you record over a previous recording, logic will create a take. You could then go through the different recording instances of a particular section. If the replace button is checked, logic will work more like an old tape recorder and simply discard and replace older recordings of the same section. Looking forward to more videos like this one. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Hi thanks for your video demonstration/tutorial you mention on the video that GarageBand has the same concept of Logic Pro, it will be nice that you release a tutorial/garage band demonstration in the future. Will be nice for some of the guys who are not ready to move on to logic pro. Thank you.

Zachary Taibi-Bennoui Of course I did! Did you talk about metronome or the rythm? I am in school in music and they want us to play with that. You’ve also talk about a Whatsapp group? Do you know if it’s public? Thanks a lot!

This was an excellent introduction. I wish I had found it a few months ago when I bought my first Mac specifically to learn Logic. Never having used a Mac before it's been a slog. I figured out at least half of what you covered but it brings it together so comprehensively and I learned a lot too. Why aren't you posting links to these videos on Apple-vis or have I missed them? I just stumbled on this with Google. The Logic Gmail list is good and so is Logic Band for blind users but I found this really easy to follow. I'd like to see something about recording and editing MIDI sometime as I bought a NI M32 and S61 controller. Thanks. And more please when you can. :)

Hey Zack I’m really wanting to use logic as a midi platform everything else that has to do with audio and recording vocals or live instruments I am already dedicating that with ProTools, in this video you help me navigate through several things which is very helpful, but would love to know if there’s any possible chance we could get together so you could show me how to Record Midi and all its functions I’m very knowledgeable I’m pretty sure I’ll get the hang of it really easy just need some help sorry for being such a bother

Hey do you know a way of getting the volume of the voiceover to either go up and down with logic, or be able to be controlled separate to the logic volume. I use the speak items under pointer function because I still have a tiny bit of vision left and the problem I have is when mixing in minus db, when turn up the volume up to compensate the voiceover voice gets to high. Please help ???n

hello thanks a lot this helped me a lot I was wondering if u can do one with importuning drum kits in to logic then playing some of the sounds that u picked out of the drumkit that I download I think u have to use the e x s 24 sampler but I am not sure how to use that please help it would really help me out thanks
@ZacharyTaibiBennoui3 жыл бұрын
Hey there, You can import drum kits into logic, but it’s not the most accessible at the moment. I’m going to hold off on making a video in case the new update comes out, in case anything changes. After that I will make a video on how to load in external samples.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the last comment I left. I was using my iPhone and dictation did not work properly. Are there any more videos in this particular series of the introduction to logic Pro X? I had several questions about the current one, but one of my biggest ones was how are you able to import the loops into your project from the loop browser? There doesn't seem to be a way to drag and drop like I found on many webpages, and I thought that maybe you were able to find a VoiceOver or keyboard shortcut to make this happen as you seem to be able to navigate to the position of the place you wanted to load, and added effortlessly. These are incredible videos and have taught me a ton of new information that I didn't know I have a plied these concepts to garage band as I've just started learning it this week. I would love to once again contact you and talk to you about some of this. I also heard that there is a WhatsApp group you could join, could you let me know how to get in touch with the people to join that group? Even though I am not a logic pro user, most of the concepts still apply in garage band. Thanks once again and look forward to talking to you soon.

You should say everything your doing on the keyboard while your explaining how it works! This is worthless to a blind person.
