Clicker / marker training is a great way to communicate and reinforce behaviour. It works on any animal.

Poor dog, bloody stupid government banning them instead of dealing with the real issue of idiot owners

It sucks big time that it has come to this, but I'd much rather have my dog alive and still able to enjoy lead walks if they are comfortable wearing a muzzle. You can still give them lots of enrichment and training to give them a brain workout when physically tiring them out is trickier.

@@valsk9training10 Are you near any famers fields ? If so ask farmer if u can walk your dog on the land And as its private land the rules do not apply, and if its safe to do so you can let your baby run off lead

Tgat looks like a baskerville muzzle truly not designed for this breed at all
@valsk9training105 ай бұрын
Indeed, the baskervile muzzles are too small. At the time of recording, this was the largest size we had, but we used the rings to get him used to putting his head into something

I got that muzzle and its a bit loose at the bottom but fits ok sides and top Only put it in when its walk time so mines ok with it as he knows hes going out

There's not a really a one size fits all for muzzles, some dogs have wider faces, or longer snouts, bigger necks, all these different variables to think about. Just make sure your dogs mouth/cheeks can fit in without being squeezed in, and that they can pant, drink and take treats through the muzzle. In the summer it will be even more important to make sure they have the best sized muzzle for them as they can overheat if they can't do the above things.
