Macro Nutrients:
- Protein: Builds and repairs tissue and muscle
- Carbs: Used as energy, great for workouts
- Fats: Used as energy, vital for hormones
Macro Calories:
- 1g Protein = 4kcal
- 1g Carbs = 4kcal
- 1g Fat = 9kcal
Your Daily Calories:
- Estimate BMR = Body weight lbs) * 10
- Daily calories = BMR * activity multiplier (1.2 - 1.7)
- Protein = Body weight (lbs)
- Fats = 20-30% of caloric budget
- Carbs = Rest of caloric budget
