I like the bus analogy of getting up. Moral facts are a fascinating topic. it occupies permanence over the temporary. Social facts like math equations concerning the theory of everything are unicorns I like to study and write about.

I might wonder "why shouldn't someone else give up their seat?" If giving up the seat is a universal "moral fact" then EVERYONE ought to get up and offer their seat to the old woman. Otherwise, it's just MY PERSONAL sense of what I "ought to do".

"Self-perpetuating" is a concept. Try to understand it. Consider how bacteria are self-perpetuating. Viruses are also self-perpetuating. Here is another concept: If bacteria and viruses were not self-perpetuating, they would not exist. Do you get it? Make sure you understand these two concepts before you go on to the next concept. minute 32: *I* had a "revelatory event" that convinced me that God was real. Though that has not stopped me from rethinking the question "what IS God?" But SOMETHING beyond myself or any other humans or worldly beings caused that event to happen.
