Bought one of these a few days ago, set it up from the manual and then watched this video. Both are very good - although I would advise taking the table off to adjust the lower guides - it's just a bit less fiddly that way! Managed to tut a 0.5mm strip from 15mm softwood smoothly and easily - that's the mark of a good bandsaw!

Quality features, even in this small machine. The proof is always what it cuts and how well it does it, so thanks for showing the setup and the results. Really useful vid well delivered.

Great video on how to set blade tension I’ve just had mine delivered this morning replaced my Draper bench top bandsaw with this quality Axminster craft AC1400B I’ve also bought other Axminster craft products well recommended 👍

Initially the saw was awesome but following a blade coming off, all my efforts to reset it results in drift to the left. I'm at a loss as to how to correct it. UPDATE: changed blade and Alls well.

ive had mine over 4 years had a few niggles the push bearings have gone but got them from axminster still works fine

I’ve just bought this bandsaw and followed instructions step-by-step to set it up. Who needs an instruction manual for there is such a detailed instruction for this product? The saw is the dogs b*******! So easy to use and so accurate.
