as a current employee of The Habit Burger Grill, there is a nifty little trick that the company doesn’t tell us about in training. if you look at the little paper “boats” that our fries and kids meals come in, you might notice that certain fold points have perforations. while these are primarily there to for the product company to help properly fold the boats into the correct shape, they are also there for us cooks in the restaurants to easily break off an end of the boat and turn it into a scooping tool. dropped the fry scoop in the middle of a rush and don’t have time to clean it? no problem. just break off and end of one of the literal hundreds of paper fry boats right in front of you and continue scooping fries like no tomorrow. they are also used to help us with the process of pre-portioning special fried items like green beans and sweet potato fries. turn the big fry boat into a scoop and then fold the pointed corners inward to allow a perfect glide into the portion bag after weighing the correct amount of product. we also use them as disposable cleaning tools for the fryer tubs and the grease trap underneath, as well as for clearing excess food waste from dish sinks. and some cashiers use them to help pick up spills in the dining areas. nifty, no?

Does BeMazereally think this cereal box closing method really stop mice. Neither method will prevent mice from eating your cereal, they just eat through the box itself they don't even mess with the closure. If you have mice your best option is to move it to a plastic container with is harder for the mice to chew thru, but still possible.

One secret to peanut butter nobody mentions is that you can get 100% all natural delicious peanut butter by simply cracking up hazelnuts, get off the top shell skin, pop it into the own at the top for almost no minutes, crush and mix them and you have peanut butter with no added sugar or anything. A nifty trick my dad taught me about old roads is those with cube shaped rocks. They don't just last an eternity, but when they start to get worn out, you simply turn it around to another side and now you can reuse it for another eternity. One of the worst inventions fooling us is soda. We always buy packaged sodas in a bottle or can. But restaurants and such buy the exact same Coca Cola in powder. They easily and cheaply buy a ton of soda powder, add carbon to water, add the powder and sell it fresh. Since it's powder, it lasts longer and come out fresh every time. Another cheap trick is smaller packages. We're not paying for the product, but the packaging. So they want you to buy as small as possible to pay more for less. A personal tip is when you have open pillows or soft parts of furniture, or maybe you're just tired of ripped sheets. Use towels. Not just super fluffy and liquid absorbent but made to handle tearing and straining.

No foam pad, no fake stacks, just having to fold the jeans everyday. The saying practice makes perfect really applies when it comes to the jean walls🤷‍♀️

Yeah, it's seriously easy and I am not very computer savvy. However, I do know how to type an internet search on Google and KZfaq. This alone has saved me loads, such as with my car. I'm not a mechanic and couldn't do the work myself but by researching how to disassemble my engine, that allowed me to troubleshoot my issue and buy the parts myself, saving a lot of money on the cost of research and the shop buying the parts for me. Everyone needs to clue their friends and family members who aren't too old or disabled into using the internet to solve issues right from home without paying for a specialist.

Not sure if American mice are a little less tenacious but I can confirm that UK based rodents don't try and enter in the normal civilized way (through the top) then give up. They simply gnaw through the side of the cereal box, through the bag and then feast on your breakfast. Best to get plastic cereal storage tubs, put the bag in the tub & throw the box away, no need for any cereal box origami.

2 things wrong with the toilet paper argument: 1. The toilet paper is touching the wall (in that example) anyways.. forward or back, the toilet paper still touches the wall, therefor argument invalid. 2. There are suspended toilet paper holders that don't touch anything except the holder.. IE I have a standing holder that suspends it.. So we're back to square one. Forward or back.

but what about the ease of grabbing and not, like, folding your hand under the toilet paper roll while you get your shit ridden hands all over the walls.

I use clothing hangers, that have spring clips, when you buy clothes. I cut the clip part off. Keep them for lots of things. But for cereal, I only cut the bag onthe top halfway across. Pour. Then fold one side at a 45 across, then again with the other side. Then take the center and fold over a couple times, then clip. I keep them out of the box after. I save the box for the cardboard. I did it when my kids were little. And I still do it with grand kids around. The cardboard is great for making things. Just get creative!!!

12:45 unfolding your chinese food box to make a plate. You can see in the video just how potentially messy that becomes. Any liquid is bound to find its way off the 'plate'. Good luck with that. The actually life hack would have been if they served you it as a plate and you could just fold it up to a box so it won't be a mess.
