Hi from Kuwait. I just finished your book "One Simple Idea for Startups and Entrepreneurs". In all honesty, I've had your book for a little bit less than a year and well I just flipped through it every now and then. Over the past week I finished it from cover to cover: It's not only a great book it is also very, very inspiriting. I really learned a lot from your experience with Hot Picks and I thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. By the way, I am an MBA and currently working as a GM for a conglomerate in Kuwait yet, still, I learned a great deal. If I'd say anything then I'd say: Entrepreneurship is much more different and much more exciting than managing a company. Well, again, I must say that your book inspired me to attempt my first entrepreneurial venture and I will share with you what comes up for your book has a lot to do with my decision. Thanks Stephen and my best to you.

I just finished reading your book, lots of great information. One Simple Idea was a great book from the beginning to the very end. Some books are energy drainers, but will usually give you a few pieces of useful information. This book was the opposite for me, I had a hard time putting it down, and found myself wanting more by the end of it. Lots of good content, thank you.

Hi, I have purchased the book, filed my ppa, paid for a patent search, I am crafting my sell sheet. I have a CEO friend that will get me in to pitch my idea. My question is this: Do I license as a person or file to be a business and license as a busineds?

Way to get in the game Robert! You do not want to sign a licensing agreement in your own name due to liability issues. You can wait to create a business until after you get some interest.

Hello Stephen, I am an entrepreneur from Belgium and I would like to know if you have any tips on doing the same in Europe? Is it most likely interesting for me to start licensing here too? I am venturing my own invention at the moment, I have designed a little kitchen gadget that I am about to sell online trough my shopify website, currently my first batch of 3000 pieces is arriving next week and I will be able to launch my business in a few weeks time I hope. Do you think I could do a combination of licensing and venturing it myself at the same time? What do you think about this? It would be super interesting to get your opinion on this case. Oh and what do you think about the kitchen gadget market at the moment? Best regards, Thomas

Hello Thomas! It's super exciting to hear that you are venturing. Manufacturing a product can be challenging, but the good news is you can do a combination of licensing and venturing, if you want. If you'd like to take some time, fell free to watch this webinar with Nancy Tedeschi about how she went from venturing to licensing: www.inventright.com/stories/843-from-venturing-to-a-7-figure-licensing-deal-with-snapit-screw-inventor-nancy-tedeschi. I think it will answer a lot of questions! Thank you for watching!
