I think you missed the biggest point about this game in its current state. The investor/ collector left years ago and it largely a player driven market at this point. This seems to be the direction the company wanted as they kept reprinting higher priced cards and not doing much to cater to collectors.

@@chestercheetah3475 ya I’ve commented on other videos how I think the collapse of of Monarch really flushed out most of the investors and the over printing. It’s 90% players at this point if not more. Great game at the end of the day

Good video man great topic. So history edit, FAB was not a kickstarter. FAB launched in Oct 2019 in NZ and the market did not boom and there was not any hype for 1 full year for the cards. The game had good reception but the secondary market for Alpha wtr you had legendary CFs for $50-$100 and heart of fyendal for $500. Around August of 2020 thr market boomed with the cfb partnership. As investment stuff goes it's quite interesting, games been out for 5 years, 13 sets, best organized play experience, arguably best draftable product in the market, company grossed 50M in revenue last year. A lot if really positive indicators, and the market itself seems to really be driven by player need for playable cards in tournamants. Enjoyed listening to the video man looking forward to more!

I just started playing fab, I've played 9 games and won 0. So if I come of as ignorant it's because I am. How dose one invest in fab? I was given bulk cards by another player who was going to throw in the trash, like 80 something cards. If these bulk cards are worth so little player's are throwing them in the trash (or giving them to new players) and I'm assuming most cards are bulk how is one meant to invest? Obviously the 150 or so cards I have must not be worth the card stock they are printed on.

I only invest in sealed product. I collect cold foils as well it’s a type of special foiling flesh and blood does but to be honest just watch my videos, Pokémon is the only real tcg investment but you can make money off other TCGs but again if you are going to “invest” stick to sealed booster boxes

@NatorGreen7000 The card rarity is what really determines price. The bulk cards you got were most likely commons which are .02 on average and rares that are .20 on average. The Majestic, legendary, marvel, and fable rarity cards are ones that have retained value due to lower supply, much like other tcgs. On tcgplayer you can filter by rarity and set to see what the hit cards are. Not saying how to invest though, just letting you know there are cards that have value in the boxes if you open them.

what other sets do you think are good investments other than crucible of war ?

@@racsorodz8610 to be honest I would highly recommend Pokémon instead of flesh and blood but if you really want to Monarch first edition at this price is a good pick up and possibly some of the newer sets like the last 2-3 just because I think they are tighter print runs but any of the first 3 sets in unlimited are good pick ups right now

Aria was before everfest. Everfest had also unlimited but was destroyed by LSS.

@@djanny8951 where do you play? It’s really hard finding people who play inside the USA. I travel a lot and most LGSs can’t get a play group going. Seems bigger over seas
