Great question! It will not always be the last column. It depends on the type of question and what value you’re solving for. In the problems in this video, the last column includes the variable in the context of the question “How much of this and that in order to get this?”

+Vicente Albacite The smallest place value of the equation. If it's the hundredths place, multiply by a hundred. If the smallest place value is the thousandths place, multiply by a thousand.

Go by the smallest place value. For example if the smallest place value is the tenths place, multiply each term by 10.

Sir can you please explain it to me or what is the answer for this problem. Jack invested his savings in two invesment funds. The amount he invested in fund A qas 3 times as much as the amount be invested in fund B. Fund A returned a 7% profit and fund B returned a 4% profit.how mich did he invest in fund B,if the total profit from the two funds together was $2000.

Let A = 3x and B = x. Then solve the equation (3x)(.07) + (x)(.04) = 2000. Solving for x gives you the amount invested in Fund B. There are more examples in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pdloY71_udCcZqs.html
