@@Ulghart comic thanos bodies, even not counting stones. This is just the mcu too, comic thanos would decimate most of this verse. He scales directly in physical feats to comic hulk and also has more battle prowess and martial skill then people like taskmaster. Also stones body the entire verse Edit: stones are if we’re assuming it’s in the multiverse so they work, but it probably wouldn’t since the stones don’t work out of the origin universe.

There are so many things in this season where I think Kirkman improved his own writing from the comics. The Titan storyline, make Amber smart, fastforwarding Eve's story, making Omniman kill the Guardians in the first episode rather than so many issues later. There are so many more but I really like the improvements.

@@adityyuh Their reaction was cut so poorly that I half expected Battle Beast attacking Mark with his weapon to be hard cut to show after battle patching up. Almost all funny moments skipped("I know where your family lives", "Italian Maple!", "Paint cost money and you've got long ass name", probably something else I missed),, some interesting moments skipped (Titan character & reasoning especially) for no real reason. I know it's much harder to select about 10 min to avoid copyright from anime episodes that are usually about 20-22 min (if we ignore op & ending & in some cases recaps), so you can put half in compared to ~45-60 min of longer shows, but god, this episode was cut terribly. I remember someone in either Stranger Things or R&M comments defending bad edit missing something really cool/funny with "they didn't react to that moment too much", but I call bs. Other than having to cut specific moments because those were the flagged ones (which I don't think is the case here, Amazon doesn't seem to hunt down reactors at least for this show), it's either cut terribly to persuade people to get patron (which won't work because very few want to see full time watch along, and I think patreon highlights are the same but available faster), or their editor did really poor job on selecting moments to put in :/

I think it was Titan, I don’t think it was Omni man because 1. He wasn’t watching in the comics and was doing something else, and 2. As far as he knew he could have saved Mark himself since he couldn’t have known Battle Beast was there, and I don’t think he even knew who he was.

I don't think Nolan really cares about the new Guardians of the Globe enough for him to want them dead. The only reason he killed off the last Guardians was because they were actually a threat to him.

I think what they were establishing with that last scene was that chemical weapons, plagues, radiation, ect would not work. To take down a Viltrimite you have to fight them directly.

@@mab2187 I think your either underestimating the guardians or Nolan's intelligence. Considering how battle beast could have apparently folded him like a chair, Nolan is far from unbeatable and his whole reason for killing the guardians was that they were potentially a threat. Aside from that sure they could have compared time of death against his alibi... if they had any reason at all to investigate him in the first place. As far as anyone is concerned he had no reason to be there, no motive, and there was no evidence pointing to him even with Damien Darkblood's demon magic. If he was so concerned about the slightest possibility someone might suspect him, then he could have framed one of the many villains or monsters out there.

Come on only 40%-50% of the population who have probably died during the fight. Acceptable losses if you ask me.

In hindsight, that's the one kinda weird thing that arises from involving Battle Beast in the plot this early. You'd think Cecil would be VERY interesting in trying to find out more about the fucking alien Lion-O who absolutely THWOMPED Mark like it was easy (and it WAS easy, frankly). Obviously it's not like Cecil could just call up Battle Beast on the phone or anything, but you'd think it would at least be a point of interest for the GDA considering they're on the lookout for all things capable of hurting Viltrumites.

It's just a matter of finding someone or something strong enough to inflict damage. Battle Beast beating Mark isn't new information, especially when the leader of the Flaxxans also hurt Mark. Cecil needs a solution he can control, not a potentially greater threat. It goes back to what he said in episode 4. One nightmare scenario at a time.

That's what we learned because we're the omniscient audience. Mark didn't even notice his dad hovering in the clouds or expect to see him. He was too preoccupied with his fight with Battle Beast. By the time Omni-Man does reveal his true colors, Mark's first reaction isn't to blame him, but to try to knock out the imaginary person who was controlling him.
