I feel so unbelievably bad for Mark and Debbie, I’ve never wanted to give 2 characters a hug this badly. For Mark it’s not just his father but his hero, for Debbie it’s the love of her life and the father of her child. As for the Angstrom Levy subplot, it’s kinda surprising that in most universes Invincible actually joins Omni-Man and conquers earth is actually terrifying. Especially after seeing how in the first alternate universe we saw Mark becomes as much of a cold blooded sociopath as Nolan.

You don't know ehen that scene with mauler and angstrom took place compared to that order, immortal could've been looking for survivors as that was happening, and angstrom teleported away and mayler snuck away

My main issue was why didnt angstrom not create a portal to send mark away rather than have the maulers beat on him. Taking off the helmet was just stupid for someone who is meant to be a genius.

As someone who went straight back to work after a loss, yeah, it helps you "move on", but it doesn't help you actually deal with it, and accept it. Keeping busy only helps so much. Loved this episode and loved your reaction and comments!

Something to note: Cecil's assistant Donald was killed in season 1. Something to speculate. The concept of the Multiverse is a common trope in fiction. It is used quite extensively in comic books, including the "Invincible Universe". The hope is, of course, that it is written well here.

It’s already being used well here, I’d say. They already established that Mark conquers the Earth in most dimensions, making it the main cause for Angstrom’s hate towards him

It was written well for the most part in the comic, and so far with the show they’ve improved on everything from the comic, so I’m sure it’ll be even better in the show.

With a peek into an alternate universe, Invincible’s season premiere establishes both its physical and emotional stakes, even though its supporting ensemble is often left floundering.

That Giant had me cracking up when he said "Why are you so mean to me?".🤣 I wish that they keep the part in the reaction where Bulletproof and Rex were talking to each other. That was so funny I watched it about 5 times laughing my butt off. I can't wait to see what he's able to do in combat. This was a nice start to Season 2. I hate that the Maulers messed things up by not listening to the guy. If they had just told Invincible what they were doing he might've thought about it and talk to the guy in the chair more about it since he was still able to hold a conversation during the process. Things might have gone differently, but something good like that for all universes was somehow going to get screwed up. Humans always find a way to mess up something that could benefit the world by destroying something or reverse engineering something to destroy. I'm still waiting for Amber to act stupid again in hopes that Mark will dump her and get together with Eve or anyone else. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.

Yeah invincible has been around for 20 years. It was like mid-2000s when Kirkman originally did multiverse stuff. By no means the first comic to do it but it was still something largely relegated to comics back then

It's so weird for the title card to not show up 😂 11:50 wtf jaby 😂 19:26 This part cleared up why Levy was so pissed at mark although he did that to himself because he wanted to save him. Reading the comic I kinda just forgot his motivation because it wasn't spelled out so much in the comics 23:30 the comic has it's own take on the multiverse. It balances presentation and relevance.

Angstrom could not make a Portal to save Mark because his powers don’t allow him to freely do so. It’s like they showed earlier, in order to make a portal under Mark for him to say fall in, he would need to be at a level of elevation under Mark in a different dimension at the same place, which he can’t cuz he is unable to move from his current position. If he created a portal where he is now, it would be a portal in the air that Mark can’t reach because he is being held and jumped by the Mauler Family. Even if Mark wasn’t getting molly whopped, he can’t make Mark fly into a portal cuz Mark has his own autonomy

Most stories about clones have the cloned child be the son to the original, but it's more accurately like the Mauler Twins as brothers. It's like how identical siblings work through duplication of a fertilized egg.

Im gonna be honest that "do you know what happened to Prometheus?" line at 10:10 is probably one of the best reactions ive seen to angstroms original plan. Its dead right that bringing something like that about would come at some great cost, personal or otherwise. At the end we actually SEE angstrom give in to his personal morals and sacrifice his plan to build a utopia because he couldn't shoulder the costs associated

the thing with mark trying to be this hero really bothers me. hes very quick to take on a relationship, accept a mission that may take his life, especially trusting a random individual with some sad story. he really needs some time to think where he messed up and how he couldve avoided all those ppl dying. like go train throwing meteors or pulling planets, hes still a very naive teenager.

Either it's a different dimension(actually it's interesting how they call it dimensions rather than (alternate) universes, maybe the writers did it because they think we're bored already by all this multiverse stuff in other movies, so they at least changed the terminology a bit), or they create clones of that guy as a most loyal agent of Cycil

@zeeshanismail7768 Yes, before the explosion, he was trying to save Mark. Afterward, his mind is so jumbled that all he wants to do is kill Invincible. Maybe he isn't a full-fledged villain, but I don't see him working with Mark at all.

The trope always annoys me.of in this one universe this one thing is different and in all or most of the others it's not that way. Because if there are infinite universes. than a part of infinity is still in-fucking-finity. So there shouldn't be a small number of universes where mark is still good. There should be an infinite number of them. Same thing with America shavez

While I really did not like Amber in S1, from what we've seen in this episode, she seems to be more thoughtful & caring (so far). Not sure if the writers are attempting a course correction with her character or if we're seeing a different multi-verse Amber? Who knows.

@cluster_f1575 Well, it's a fantastic bit of voice acting by Zazie, but she's (Amber) is not being emotionally honest. Now, they may change a few things but in the grand scheme of the Invincible story, Amber isn't important. I'm excited for a couple of story lines that they'll probably start this season. Wild things are coming.
