This has got to be one of the most creative uses of CGI in any movie ever. Of course, it's Paul Verhoeven, so what else would we expect?

I love Hollow Man (2000). It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes. The story, performance's, music, and special effects was outstanding and incredible. Kevin Bacon did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Sebastian Caine as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. A brilliant yet arrogant scientist that has hunger for power and once he has that power it really takes a dark and sinister turn as he is tempted to use it for evil intentions. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍💯😎👍

They really went all out on the CGI. Even the capillaries were shown.

From Robo cop to this movie, Paul Verhoeven outdone his own visual effects in every movie. He is probably the most underrated Director so far.

I love how it simply breaks biology, by skipping the lungs, and straight up fuelling whole heart with blood with no oxygen

Yes, and the fact that they can hear her heartbeat when in fact that wouldn’t happen at all lol

the visibitlity is coming back. all the gorillas organs work the way they should, the serum they gave the gorilla was to bring visibility back

It also bypasses the blood-brain barrier quite readily, but couldn't be absorbed into surrounding tissues without blood pressure.

@@ajhowl151 Well, yes, but if you put in in the vascular system it can't skip the heart, and if it enters the heart through the right atrium, and ventricle (which all the blood does) it can't skip the lungs, there's simply no connection between the ventricles of the heart other than the lungs (Unless this gorilla is extremely sick and has a big opening in the septum, but even then the lungs would fill up simultaneously with the left ventricle)

The blood should go to the heart first; and then lungs second.

If the Visibility Liquid is carried through the bloodstream and only works once it has been fed to an area through blood, how did her hair and top layer of skin become visible? They don't have a blood supply.

Computers. If you mean in universe then I have no idea. Some sci-fi nonsense probably. I'm not saying it's impossible, we humans have become quite adept at controlling electromagnetic radiation. I see no reason why we couldn't learn how to control it better. Unfortunately I'm not sure it would be very useful. Eyes are essentially cameras and to work they need to capture light. If whatever they pumped into that gorilla causes light to simply ignore it then said gorilla would be blind.
