This film was produced in collaboration with a small group of British military veterans from recent conflicts, who have all been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They hope to give an insight into the experience of living with this condition, which they believe is poorly understood.

I’m a three tour back to back Vietnam combat veteran. I’m now 76 years old. After 2 plus years of VA PTSD-counseling I’m heading to a clearer horizon for me and my wife of 46 years. The ghost of combat is constantly behind me and I work hard to outrun it. Every day.

Believe me we all think about the events that occurred in combat and how it affected the citizens of the places we were deployed to. I have suffered with insomnia, depression and nightmares from 3 tours in Iraq. I can close my eyes and see the horror of a car bomb that went off in Najaf Iraq in 2003 and the people of that beautiful city suffering.

Yes, blood has a distinctive smell, I found this out working in the Healthcare field as a CNA/HHA for about 30 years. Also, there was a guy named Billy in our building in the early 1960's, he had what they called ' She'll Shock,' back then. When ever a car backfired or on the 4th of July when the fireworks were going Billy would fall to the ground like he was back in Nam. Us kids called him Billy bang bang. We didn't know any better. He was honorably discharged and sent home to his mom. Some of my older sisters guy friends, the ones who made it back, came back different. My brother had just enlisted in 1975 after graduation but just missed going to Vietnam it was just about over. I saw up close what even happened to nurses who enlisted. One nurse who I worked with in a group home would have episodes where she would just have to curl up in a corner like a baby in a fetal position until the episode was over. She would try to direct me in what to do for our residents untill the episode was over, I wasn't a nurse, just a Nurse Assistant. PTSD or Shell Shock as it was called then, is real. Even my brother who wasn't in any active war at the time had some memories that affected him. Maybe that's what all those protest songs were about back in the day. Thanks for the informative video sir.

I have it regarding an incident with a firearm. At first I was fine, but later I started slowing getting traumatized and dreaming about getting shot. Even now I'm currently in a place that reminds me of a dream I had regarding the issue. It's making me shake and paranoid, and my gf's family is taking notice. I feel so underprepared, my reflexes are broken, and I have no flow anymore in regards to Martial arts, disarms, etc. What should I do to cope? It seems like it gets worse?

Rewind hypnotherapy technique NOW is a way to rewind old memories from state of calm, safe and relaxation, you can switch the emotional state and whatever triggers you no longer will alter your emotional state. This technique creates new brain pathways in your subconscious mind.

When I had a doctor's appointment an hour away, as I returned to the car, he was suffering a panic attack. He said it was the heat....in 78° weather. He could have rolled the car windows completely down or come into the atrium at my doctor's. He becomes belligerent and very disrespectful when I attempt to approach him on this. I was a firefighter and helicopter flight RN resulting in 2 near-death experiences. How I'd love to see him treated with EMDR sessions too. I apologize for my rambling. I am a veteran. I know the nightmares and black stain that combat can have on the human mind. It haunts you your whole life. I developed a new audio science known as HYPNOTICA. It is offset tone layering that targets the subconscious mind. It is totally new and it literally saved my life from the depression that haunted me. I created this audio science to relax the subconscious mind. It is well known that depression and stress are rooted in this region of the mind. By relaxing this region of the mind using tone layering, I was able to live a normal life. I created a whole series of videos using this technique to help others who were struggling with this condition as well. The dark stain that war has on the human mind is only known to those who lived it. I was one of those who made it home from war. I was desperate to find a way to relieve this mental trauma. Being a musician it was my idea that maybe there was a way to relieve this trauma. I worked for months to develop this tone layering concept because normal music didn`t relieve the deep seated trauma that war leaves behind. HYPNOTICA can help anyone who is depressed or stressed by the combat of war or the stresses of life that challenge us all. I hope that you will try this new Audio science as it was designed to help anyone who is depressed or stressed out. You can find HYPNOTICA on KZfaq. As most veterans know now, the middle east did not attack us on 911. It was an inside job orchestrated by the military industrial complex. Just like the gulf of tonken incident that caused the Vietnam war. The real enemy is within. That is the most stressful part of this experience. We fought and died for a lie. No one who served believes that some flea bitten savage from Afganistan or Iraq was able to pull off such a massive attack without anyone within the military intelligence agency getting wind of it. The world trade center was a planned demolition. The buildings came straight down at freefall speed. Building 7 came down and was never hit by a plane. It fell the same way. The support structure of the building was wired with the same explosives as the world trade center buildings were. The enemy is within!

I feel for war veterans. At least they got some military training. They know what a bomb or mortar sounds like. What about PTSD for innocent civilians brutalised by all these wars, especially the recent US-led wars that devastate lives? Or funded proxy wars to that destabilize natons? Are they just collateral damage? Can you imagine the horror and how much PTSD they have to deal with? Let's not start unecessary wars and respect human life - both for soldiers and civilians
@milkbottlesdowncherrylane6703
@milkbottlesdowncherrylane6703 2 жыл бұрын
i agree.. these wars are being manipulated with the only purpose of causing suffering. In war the only enemy is the governments and establishment's who use propaganda and lies to make populations fight against one another. the USA government has the habit of manufacturing lies to give excuses to wage war.... the psychopathic governments of countries do not care about the civilians at all.... instead they sadly enjoy the suffering that war brings. The US government does not care about the lives of their soldiers. No government cares about the lives of any human. The only way to stop war is for the people to refuse to participate and refuse to fight. every population in every country needs to refuse to fight in any war.

The worst part about this experience is looking out across this society and realizing what all your suffering was for. What your friends died for. What your restlessness, nightmares, and pain are for. You suffer so that barbarians can rip apart your society and your daughters can sell themselves on Onlyfans. Reality is a fate worse than death.
