In this little demonstration video I show you how you can easily adjust the sights of your airsoft gun, for windage and elevation.
The proccess is quite simple. All sights have small screws with clicking mechanisms, which hold the screw in place and doesn't let them get loose due to vibration, and also each click corresponds to certain centimeters, so that the shooter knows how much left or right he adjusted the sight.
Some guns have only rear adjustable sights, others have both rear and front adjustment.
The proccess of calibrating and adjusting the sights on the gun is probably described in the user manual.
If the sight has numbers on it, we place the target at the coresponging distance from the gun, and we set the gun at a fixed point. A tripod or vice is a bery good option to set the gun as stationary as possible, in my case I didn't have any of those, so I used the next best thing I could find: a metal frame.
As you can see, I attached the gun as tightly as possible to the stationary object, aimed and took a shot at the target.
If the mark on the target is not at the desired position, then we can turn the screws left or right, up or down, to move the sights and gain the proper aiming.
Usualy, each click coresponds to a few milimeters, so we aim and adjust accordingly. It is a lengthy task, but it works.
Remember never to put your fingers in the arming mechanism, only the projectile, and never put oil in the plunger.
The user manual has all the details.
And of course, always treat airsoft guns with the proper caution. They can cause injusry, so always keep the finger away from the trigger, and point the gun to a safe direction.
