Many airsoft guns use a plunger mechanism in order to propel the projectile to the target, and that works simply by compressing an amount of air before releasing it and launching the projectile.
Quite simple mechanism, but it needs the corect spring in order to work. This one had the wrong spring, so replacing it is a simple straight forward job.
Each gun has different ways of disassembly, so no need to go through any of those details. The video is again pretty self explanatory.
The only message I want to pass through is that you need to remember where you take out each screw from, so that you'll put it back again in the correct spot. If you don't have good memory, take a picture with your phone. No problem.
The other message I want to relay, (and it is more important that the first one), is about gun safety.
Always treat any type of gun as a potential threat to human life. Either firearms or airsoft guns, they all should be treated the same way regarding gun safety.
Always make sure the gun is empty of ammunition and there are no projectiles in the chamber.
Always make sure the gun is not armed and there are no ammunition lying around that might find their way in the gun.
Always make sure the gun is pointing at a safe direction, especialy away from any personel.
REMEMBER:
When you manipulate any type of gun, it is YOU who is responsible for it's safety, so do the above actions to make it safe, and then do any kind of work you want on the gun.
Never target people, birds, animals or any living thing.
Practice your hobby in a safe manner, and don't be a douche.
As you can see in the end of the video, that small BB projectile penetrated that thin metal container clean through.
The second one didn't. And that was about 3 to 5 meters away (10 to 15 feet).
Litteraly, those small BBs are able to cause injury to anyone, so be very careful.
