This is truly a historical moment in this country. I love how Obama's speech is themed around being the underdog. I always believed that he was going to beat Hillary. But now the nation is starting to see it. He's so charismatic, genuine and has a better understanding of world issues than any other candidate. How can you not support him? Go Obama! New Hampshire is next!

He is NOT just another politician. A 24 year old Barack Obama passed over lucrative job offers (6,7 digit fiqures) to work as a community organizer to help the poor and downtrodden who had lost their jobs when steel plants were closed down in Chicago, 20 yrs. ago. It's a characteristic inherited/learned, perhaps, from his Mother who spent most of her live helping the disadvantaged and voiceless. This man REALLY cares about changing America to benefit ALL of its citizens. Pray he wins.

Obama is the type of leader that injects hope , enthusiasm and vision to the rest of us. He makes us feel that we can achieve more than we sometimes never think to strive towards. Few people in our nation's history have done that. Having Obama as President, Americans will be inspired to work hard to revive the spirit of this country.

My mom and dad went to college with Barack Obama at Occidental in LA. They were close friends, and my dad went running with him every morning. They've worked on the campaign, and recently had a private dinner with him. They met him at the most confused point in his life, yet they still firmly believe in his faith in America, his humility and willingness to listen, and ultimately his ability to bring about a true positive change in the way our country works. That's what I know.

As a University of Iowa student I had the chance to see Barack Obama speak several times. This being said, I believe that Mr. Obama has the drive and the fresh ideas to reunite this country and improve how the rest of the world views the United States. It is because of these reasons and more that I drove more than 2 hours to caucus for Barack. OBAMA 2008

Wow. THAT, my friends, was an amazingly powerful speech. No matter whether you support Obama or are backing a different candidate, you have to admit that his message is compelling. It IS time for change, and we, as Americans, should always hope for a better future. I've been undecided up until this point--I like the three leading Dems AND Giuliani, however this speech has me strongly leaning Obama. It's nice to be inspired again.

We cannot advance our roads without light of hope. We cannot feel serenity, passion, and true lives without the light of hope. Hope is not to just see dreams. Hope is made up of strong determination and strong actions. I saw the hope in him. I'm now reading "Dreams From My Father". That's simple where the hope has come from. Steady endeavor, endless feeling for something, like love for human beings or America. That is what hope is.

Obama has unbelievable charisma and his speeches are amazing. He never talks about real issues, it's just politics as usual with catchy words like "change" and "hope". This is why I like Ron Paul - he talks about issues head on and doesn't politic around issues.
