iPad 2 A1395 Digitizer Glass Replacement

Here we replace the glass digitizer on an Ipad 2 model #A1395 wifi only. If you have broken or cracked your glass digitizer than this video will show you how to replace that part. The parts are available in our online store at RockIT Repairs

Well done on this tutorial. Clear and concise, you didn't assume everyone has a certain level of knowledge. I really appreciate that you repeat things that can lead to problems. Also mentioning that other models/versions don't have the same layout as this one. Another thing I appreciate is that you didn't fast forward (so far). Now for the request: Could you please provide me with a list of the tools that I will need to get started doing this exact same repair? Got a couple of this model IPads for nothing and they work but need new glass.Thanks for the great video. I will be watching more for sure.

Good video. If you don't know what something is called just do what I do. "This thingy over here that holds this thingy down. It's a clippy thingy."

I am looking at an iPad2 for a friend, since I do repairs, and screen replacements, and when I hook power to it, the image with the battery status, will show momentarily then go to a back-lit black screen. I can see that the battery is fully charged, when this happens. I tried doing a reset, holding the stand-by, and home button, but nothing changes. Would this be a bad LCD, or hardware failure on a logic board? The screen is fully intact, and not even cracked. Best guess, before I operate? Thanks!

Putting the screws back in to the LCD might be an idea💤🤔

Do you use the gloves for keeping high voltage that we all create to keep board safe. Plus keeping LCD clean?

Brandie Harvey Also, I would love to get one of the tools you're using - the metal spudger. looks pretty useful, wide enough to grip, but narrow (thin) enough to use in very small situations.
