Hi , i am thinking to buy one 2nd hand , can u tell me if it can run 4,5 apps on Ram and works very well though, actually I am taking it for study taking notes and lectures,i am gonna use any notes app and a app for lecture and KZfaq simaltaneously so can it run it very smoothly , i have an iPhone 11 so want to try the ecosystem but can't make decisions i should get it or get ipad 7th as both have same processor only diff in ram 2gb and 3gb in 7th, please reply

@@sampadghosh7886 You should go with a iPad 8 if you can afford it. iPad 6 is getting closer to losing support in iPadOS. iPad 8 will last much longer. I mean if that’s all you’re using it for, then you can go with a iPad 6. iPad 8 is a better iPad due to its longer support, more ram, faster processor and task, bigger screen, and affordable.

I use this iPad as my main notebook for all my uni subjects and it works great. Runs smooth with the Apple Pencil and very reliable. Also works seamlessly with sidecar and universal control with no lag. Split screen is also good. Sometimes when using multiple apps at the same time it can slow down a little but overall it’s still perfectly usable. Mine could probably do with a battery replacement as I would have to charge it every night now. I

I've had the iPad 6th gen since launch and it still works great. No reason to upgrade until 2025 when it stops receiving updates.

I am still using this ipad 6 128GB cellular every day. It has everything that I need: Touch ID, cellular, and pencil! Definitely one of the best devices. Dont fall into the new device marketing trap!

Nice description. Just bought a used one of these. Really got it mainly for a teleprompter screen. This was only $150, but I was surprised to see that the 9th gens were only about a hundred more as you indicated. Perhaps I could have used it for more things.

Watching on my iPad 6 gen 128GB that I picked up last year for $100 after my iPad Air 2 battery finally gave out. My new to me iPad 6 was only used a few times by the previous owner it Came with the box and the charging brick was still new in the box. I usually buy by my apple products used and wait until they are a few years old. You can some really good deals on the used market! My 6 gen works super fast.

Would you say it'd be worth while for sending emails, basic browsing, youtube etc? Trying to figure out which model to get my dad. Having a physical home button will definitely be a plus in our usecase.

Thank you, as always for your very good comments. Back when this iPad model was new, I was trying to decide between the 9.7-inch iPad pro models (which, supported the Apple 1st generation pencil) and this basic iPad 6th generation models (which, also supported the Apple 1st generation pencil). Even on Apple's certified refurbished web site the price for the older iPad pro was more than for a new basic iPad 6th generation. So, I picked-up up the top of the line version with memory of 128GB and the data cell option. While, this model still supports the current version of iPad OS 16, I would only recommend users pick-up like myself a basic iPad 9th generation model (smile...smile).

Got this ipad from release date and im still using it now! This is the reason why apple products are worth the money you spent on them haha. The first three years of my ipad i used it to play genshin, pubgm, codm, and a lot more, but when those games start to update more it cant handle it no more haha but i can still play nongraphic heavy ones. The most astonishing with this is that i can still edit videos in high quality (i only use vllo and imovie) and its been my notebook and laptop at one for the last 5 years with the apple pen 1

I’m watching this video on an iPad 6, had it since Early 2019 so nearly 5 years! It’s done me well and I haven’t had any big issues. Only problem I have is storage, 32gb is just not enough in 2023 so I’ll be looking to upgrade for more storage mainly!

@@karmaboy5748 Well, it’s a great iPad for sure, but it’s from 2018. I think it is supported till 2023, so i would not recommend it, because if u buy it this year & using it for 2-3 years without support it will still not have any problems after 3 years, but replace an iPad after 3 years is not necessary in my opinion. I’ve u looking for the cheapest iPad models, I prefer u to get a iPad 10.2 (9th gen) 2021 or a iPad 10.9 (10. gen)2022

2024 using this for note taking on the notes app. I must say when I write notes and turn off the ipad, turn it back on again, I realize that half of the notes I wrote did not save and it frustrates me. Maybe it's the one I have since everyone says it works fine for them but I don't have a ton of apps on it since I hardly ever use it, mainly for note taking as I said, but everything else works pretty ok ~

I'm not sure if it's just mine or a few people's but the new iPad 6 I just recently got the microphone is muffled and doesn't pick up consistently. It will be normal volume at the start and then slowly become quieter even if you're on top of the microphone. Is this just like my iPad problem or is this universal ?

I'm wanting to buy a refurbished iPad mainly for reading ebooks and maybe watching movies/KZfaq, so I have no interest buying a brand new one just for that. The place I'm buying from has iPad 5, 6 and 7 but the 7 is out of stock. Because I'm not gonna use it for very demanding things I'd hope it lasts me a good few years, so I might have to wait for a 7 to be sure it can deal with OS updates.

So are you pointing this out from a power or enthusiast user or general? because My nan for example wouldn't miss none of those things much less know what it changed. I'd say a lot of what it still offers is more then sufficient for someone getting into the Apple ecosystem. Someone who wasn't gonna spend much to begin so this is a great option. If once you get close to 1 gen back I as an enthusiast user just opt for new direct from Apple knowing I got fresh new battery & boxed w/ warranty if only 50 pounds more.

I still use my 128Gb WiFi iPad 6th every single day. Got it used, looks brand new, for $100. Mine runs MS 365 and Adobe stuff, so, there's that. Look, if you want to do business and academic tasks, go for it. If you want to play insane games or do wild multi-tasking? Cool, be prepared to pay a lot and upgrade forever. My tech stuff are tools; not toys.

Mines slow, the speakers sound like crap, the cameras are absolute potato famine quality, the 32gb of storage is pathetic, and the screen is not that bright, I gotta upgrade
