I would strongly recommend to people not attempt to do this themselves unless they have had some experience already or they can afford to purchase another iPad. Apple can replace the battery for you in most cases for $99. I know for some people this is a very high price but when you get down to it, it is a small price to pay for professional service for such a high-end tablet.

Pad Pro Shuts down when charged to 100% SOLUTION FOR ME- once i pad is charged 100% a- enter your passcode- FIRST thing, put it onto AIRPLANE MODE, put BLUTOOTH OFF and even put off WiFi if possible and use ipad for 2-3 minutes. Then only start using ipad with Blu-tooth, cellular or WiFi functions. (IMO might be, as soo. As the system starts, it tries to hit blutooth or cellular functions and it might be impacting the battery function) worked works 100% no more issues

I hav an iPad 7 how do I fix that-

My 11 month old iPad Pro charges 100% then if I do not take it off immediately will not start and locks off stating flat battery on screen,charge a few seconds again an try works bu taking more tries every time. It Is going back to apple store tomorrow and I want new replacement or fixing, it went wrong at previous upgrade. When it restarts it will go for many hours before rung down , so battery is OK. I think it is programmed to fail after guarantee expires bu I have used it a LOT and it thinks it is already out. Good try apple but I am not buying a new one it cost a thousand pounds, so I expect a product that works. There is comment on the internet about this blaming upgrades for it.
