I want to personally thank you guys for the advise for preserving my battery life on my iPad Pro. After all the steps I’ve taken made my iPad run almost 50% longer. I am not a video editor but I love to watch videos from all different platforms and I do not have to keep my device plugged throughout the day. Guys y’all are the best. Again thanks

hey, i got a dumb question my ipad show "100% charged" while charging, do i have to unplug it or i have to wait till it show "fully charged" ?

I would like to say that your video is a master class in how to present a master class: completely clear and accessible. I didn’t search this stuff up I searched how to make my iPad die fast🤨

Recently bought an ipad 6th gen, after setting up i was shocked to see the amount of battery backup i got on it (It was running on ios12). I used it like that for a whole day. On the second day i decided to upgrade the software to the latest iPadOS14.6 because some features were lacking in iOS12, like dark mode and apple pencil support. After the update i used it for a day and was completely shocked! I was losing around 1% every 2 minutes. [Note: i had the location services turned on and WiFi on as well.] But the thing i noticed was that once i lock the device and it goes to stand by mode, not a single percent charge is lost!. This was huge for an android person like me.[Note: i had the WiFi and location services off during stand by time.]

definitely worked…i used to be at 10% to 9% in 5 minutes! but now, it takes a few hours for one SINGLE battery to drain! this is a great video! thanks for your help 👍

@Payette Forward First, thank you for the great tips. Awesome video. Quick and well documented Second, I think you missed one important tip: turn off Bluetooth if not using. Also, turn off WiFi or Network when not in use. Those functions use battery to my knowledge and you usually don’t have to have them all all of the time (Bluetooth specially)

I didn’t think I needed this. Because for over 20 minutes now I’m still on 100%. I don’t know if it’s broken. But I’m not removing it.

My average iPad battery is 1%=5 mins and now it’s 1%=8 mins! Ty!

When I updated to iOS 12 there was a very obvious battery discharge issue. I would say about 25% less efficient on iOS 12.

I’m here at 20%. I have the OG I-Pad Pro 1st Generation and have NEVER had battery issues until now. Yesterday I started as usual with 100% and within 2 hours of my “Normal” was down to 30%. Today the same thing. I’m hoping these tips help out. Thanks guys!!!
