I'm actuary a drummer. Unfortunately I don't have my drumset at home. cause of the sound, not enough space, can't afford them with zildjian cymbals anyway...(;^_^A
Then,I taught myself,wait a minute I got my iPad & GarageBand!
Why not! Let's do some iPad Rock!!
iPad 3rd with GarageBand Live Rock Kit
The Song=Instruments→Smart Guitar→chose HardRock Guitar sound→AUTOPLAY no.1 for the first 4bars & then no.2 for the next 4→hit E (key E Major/♩=120)

@@flounder6800 umm, I played drums and yes, firstly it's a bit hard to get it all together, but after few hours played that was pretty easy. You know, I wasn't playing anything hard, but still, that's the matter of time I think

It is amazing how the iPad can register all the touches on the screen flawlessly. Meanwhile, it is driving me crazy when I want to adjust text cursor.

This alone makes me consider an iPad. I love the idea of having a portable DAW, but any Android device I have is unusable [to this end] due to latency.

Just hold the spacebar for a second and you can easily move the cursor where you want. Atleast way easier then just trying to tap on the right spot. Works on iphones too

I love how the crash cymbal peaks the entire mix and cuts out every other sound, it just adds to the "on the road DIY" drumming!

The fact that this is on a touch screen with no haptic feedback, and the fact that you need a whole set of muscle memory to do this even if you are a skilled drummer is simply mindblowing!

Awesome! As a fellow drummer, I really appreciate how difficult it is to this on your iPad. You have to train your hands to do things completely different than on a drum set.

This is way harder than actual drumming. It's OK having 3-4 limbs working independently on a large kit, but not 10 fingers on an Ipad screen. Kudos, man

i disagree. you underestimate how difficult it is to independently control 3-4 limbs. i play ipad drums all the time and i can tell you a real drum set is harder in almost every way

First tell is I don’t think many non drummers are going to being playing as many notes on same beat, like stacking snare and cymbals/hat, I would imagine way more syncopated notes if it was all skill and no experience

This was awesome, and one reason why I love Garageband. It allows musicians to create the music they want, even if they can't access or use the instruments they want/need.

Professional drummers should just swap to iPads now, they can’t hit the bass drum, cymbal, snare, and floor tom at the same time but now with Garage Band you can. Buy an iPad

Actually you can if you arrange in special way and play 2 sticks per hand it's possible I do it I started a few months ago and can play 2 sticks a hand so I can play all three
