Beginning the iPhone 11, Apple have implemented serialization to its displays. what does that mean?
Let's say you swap an iPhone 13 Pro Max Display with another OEM pull from another device, that means the device has original parts right? Well Apple said hold my beer, and is trying to cut out 3rd party repair. This phone will now show a display message that states "unable to determine if your device has a genuine display" even though it is an original display pulled from another working unit.
In this video I will show you how to avoid this message displaying on your customer's devices.
This method can be replicated on iPhone 12 Pro Max, all iPhone 13 series, All iPhone 14 series. On the iPhone 11 series and iPhone 12/12 Pro, you need to be careful as the flex is more fragile and more susceptible to damage, warping, and tares. Nonetheless still doable!
This method has not been tested on the iPhone 15 series yet.

You at least need to have some soldering skills and the right equipment!

ADDITIONAL INFO:
Replacing the IC only will disable True Tone on the associated device.
there is an extra step not displayed in the video on conserving True Tone that will be shared in a separate video so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned!
for now here are the steps and what you need to get the job done:
- First and foremost, you need a JC V1SE or JC V1SPRO and the attachment that has the 13 pro/pro max display connector.
-Before removing the IC you have to read the old content of thee display via the JC Programmer.
-Transfer IC to the new screen.
- Connect new screen to JC Programmer and write the content of the old screen to it.
It is very important to follow these steps in order otherwise you can risk damaging the IC and would be rendered with a display message.
