As an iPhone user I agree. But I have noticed that everything Apple keeps is usually also the only thing that survives on Android. For example the Galaxy S3 and it’s awesome facial and movement features. Absolutely loved them. Smart stay, smart pause, smart scroll which followed your eyes to scroll pages, hand movements above screen that had loads of possibilities. Apple didn’t adopt it and Samsung killed it off.

Nah ridiculous, most test show the iphone mics are much better and the audio is better, the 12 was way behind the s21 so apple stepped up. Iphone recording is directional, however you can switch it off. Also as an audio professional you can always reduce noise but recording accurate audio to life much more important.

when you think: S21 have s20 sensors And exynos 2100/Snapdragon 888 are not have good cores but samsung is better in camera video HDR etc.

He should set it to 10 second night mode same as Samsung to be fair, this is clearly one second night mode shot, iPhone shot in 10 second format is 10 times better

So much noise in night photos and videos with the main sensor of the s21....the iphone did a better job

Yes, the iPhone still takes better pictures but the s21 makes the colors pop more which give less time for the photographer to edit.

I'm not sure I'd call that limited high resolution recording future proof. In some cases it's not really that much better than the 4k recording

@@RennieAsh haha in that case you won't understand the difference of 1080 and 4k too. Does that mean 4k is useless? It's about viewing in 8k resolution displays, and in the future we will have that and the 8k footage from samsung will come handy. Think ahead, have some vision.

@@narendrairengbam112 there were tests done to show that Samsung's "8k" wasn't much more detailed than the iPhone's 4k, in fact the s20 series it was less detailed in some cases. There a whole lot more to it than just 8k. You would know, if you had some vision. You really think it's so future proof that you can record shaky, 24fps zoomed in footage with less dynamic range and not a noticeable improvement over 4k? And what about dolby vision or ProRes or even cinematic mode. Did you think ahead for those too?

@@RennieAsh well cinematic mode is a feature that samsung and oneplus have had for almost 2 years now. It's called live video or portrait video on them. It isn't good on samsung but OnePlus portrait video is amazingly good. Iphone implemented it after 2 years and in a different way calling it cinematic mode. Dolby vision and pro res is similar to HDR10 plus and 8k respectively, also something android phones have had for a few years by now. Pro res is not exactly 8k but very similar as both have to do with more resolutions. Yes, some device's 8k or 4k footage are not up to the mark, but it can be improved. However, the point is having the feature in advance with a scope of improvements. Yes, you are actually right, iphone having pro res is being future proof in it's own way, which is good.

Its a better software, i "broke" my s10e photo software so it takes photos that are s21 resolution and atleast somewhat similar to iPhone videos, especially during the day time

@@RedskullPro when the Galaxy S10 Series had the bad dynamic range than the iPhone 11 series everyone was talking bout S10 Series bad dynamic range now when samsung has achieved crown in dynamic range no one talks about dynamic range and the darker shadows of the iPhone 13. If u r doing a camera comparison plz tell every aspects of photography...not just what u like or not.

s21 more flexible perhaps, but you can't just say camera is priority as both do better in different areas of "camera". Most liekly it will come down to iPhone has better video and Samsung may be better in photography.

I'd say that photographers would prefer a more natural picture of sorts and not one that already has colours edited, which may not be their style.A regular person just uploading things to internet may prefer the more colourful photos

@@RennieAsh one more reason why the s21 is better because it has the pro mode and the director's vision... options for analog camera settings meeting the creator's wishes...In apple you need to use raw or pro res which increases the need for editing unlike Samsung which already gives you the possibility to get the result right on the click...

@@dglass1999 Does pro mode remove Samsung's processing though? There are options to get "unprocessed jpeg" on the iPhone too via third party apps,.
