I run my s21 on power savings mode and really don't notice the difference other than the refresh rate. With power savings I get almost 9-10 hours of screen on time and without it I get 7-8

Hate the iPhone. I’ve had both now. Samsung is so much smoother. Examples…. It takes 2 clicks to delete 30 pictures on Samsung, iPhone = 60. Typing the = sign in the last sentence takes 3 clicks, Samsung 1 click. If I want to delete 50 messages within a text thread Samsung takes 3 clicks… iPhone 150 clicks. I have a text thread with 10 other friends and sometimes I’ll come back to 50 messages, The Samsung takes me to the top of where I left off, iPhone starts at the bottom and I have to scroll up 50 messages to find where I left off. iPhone 3 clicks to turn off volume(in settings), Samsung 1 click…volume button on the side of the phone duh. iPhone 5 clicks to download an app, Samsung 1. Done with it. I gave it a chance and know The differences now.

Because the S21's battery life is poor. I have one. It heats up like crazy and Android apps aren't as optimised as iOS.

Most fastness differences were milliseconds apart and sometimes you hit one a millisecond before the other. The test doesn’t really matter for such small differences tbh.

@@peterrusso7336 yeah, I’ve got the 13 and it’s really good. I like apple too but it doesn’t mean it beats all other phones in every test. With regards to the 13 if I were to buy again I’d probably go for the pro max. The battery life is incredible, it’s got 6gb ram vs the 13 4gb, a higher resolution screen which is really the new standard, a longer battery life which will give at least an extra 2 hours of intensive use (video streaming, gaming, internet browsing etc), it has a higher spec camera. If you’re someone like me who’s aiming to keep the phone for at least 4 years then it might be the better option as it won’t age as quickly and keep up with the base standard competition. So the initial higher outlay will pay for itself over the life of the device. That’s just my thoughts/opinion though and like I said I have the 13 and it’s still very very good. But might be something for you to consider and see what suits your needs better 👍🏼

Samsung might have bigger numbers, but the performance specifically is still on par with iOS, if not worse, because of how integrated iOS is with their phones. In other words, they are more efficient performance-wise.

I noticed S21 was in power saving mode, which brings cpu speed 30% down. It's great to see if beats are so-called, most powerful chip on smartphone in power saving mode 🤣. But i had google apps on my s21. Samsung services are already present there. Two services for one purpose is ridiculous.

@Hasan Heda i had S10+, upgraded to S21 . Yes its a worthy upgrade in terms of CPU, GPU, display and camera. But I'm missing 3.5mm jack, hearrate sensor and qhd screen. But now a days no flagship has 3.5mm jack. So doesn't matter. But price of s22 is too close to S21 then go with S22. Else S21 is best

I can give some tips : •Don't let your battery go down to 0% everytime. Put your phone on charge when the battery is still 10 to 20% •Don't let tour battery get heated too much somewhat is okay as it is part of the cooling system but but if the phone feels abnormaly hot let it take a break •if you want to play games play in a cooler environment •even if your battery health gets low,you can still get a new battery which will be fine for 1- 1 1/2

I think Apple needs to retest that A15 Bionic. It's claimed to be faster, yet S21with older tech is superior. I just checked a 13 pro and S22 ultra out today at VZW store, against my base S21. Imo, if you have an S21 series phone, don't bother wasting time and money on either the 13 or 22. Still a 12MP camera, and you can't tell the difference in processing speed unless side by side like in this video

I actually like the back more of the s21 XD. Samsung also gets updates as well by the way for 3 years. My sister still uses the samsung galaxy s8 plus and it still works properly so I wont worry about those update stuff XD

Once you grow up you will realise that iphone's are far more superior then an android since they use cheaper materials for their flagship models. imagine spending $900 for a plastic phone when you can buy an iphone and get your moneys worth rather then after two years they stop updating to try to sell you the newest phone.

While this video is definitely entertaining, this comparison should not be taken as a benchmarks or a "which one is faster" test. IOS is extremely different from Android and app developers use every available drop of power the phone has to optimise their apps. if all comes down to this: If you want IOS buy the IPhone if you want an android phone then select your budget and your requirements and then see whats out there. The Android world is a bit more complex because of the vastness of choice but there is an android phone for everyone and every budget.

Nah, installing custom loaders or rooting does not require any advanced knowledge of technology. Most mobile enthusiasts (except for those actually writing firmware) have extremely shallow understanding of the phone's inner processes and architecture. I'm a software developer and I like simplicity. I don't wanna be spending time tweaking my phone so it finally works as advertised. I just want something that does its job without additional time investment. If a product aimed at wider audience requires some special knowledge to work with then the product is either bad or the marketing team has to be fired.

I had the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G and I did not really like it all that much. (It was ok but, I returned it.) However, I have recently purchased the iPhone 13 and so far, I like it and it appears to work far more smoothly that I expected it to, compared to Android.

My iPhone 13 works just as smoothly as my s21 5G, they are like apple to oranges only key factor do you want the sharper screen on the 13 or the higher refresh rate on the 21. To me the 21 is much smoother because of the refresh rate and processing/ camera performance is about the same.

Even if iphone has higher processing score day to day and heavy usage samsung has an advantage because the ram helps balance things out and both phones can last atleast 5 years if nit seven so at theend if the day the capabilities are the same

Android doesnt need as much software updates because the experience is still smooth and Google play has good app support

Android has on average 7-8x the bugs apple does and they are both pretty buggy. Remember not all Anroid OS are created equal and Samsungs happens to have a bit of bugs.

Used both, the S21 is a win for me because no notch. Apple design in both software and hardware as felt unnatractive AF since 2014.

I prefer Samsung s series devices, but kept breaking glass I end up with a 12 pro max to try out after being away from apple for like 8 or 9 years. So far I have to give durability to the iPhone 12, the s20 I had was slick fast 💨 and had option for 120hz which I like but all the glass backing was the week point to me.

Most promos you have to trade a phone in or spread your phone payments over 24 months and the mobile company I use didn't apply it and accidentally applied too much in one lump sum. So I essentially didn't get a promo and got a fully paid off s21 unlocked for a little under 300

@@anonymouslc7278 still a good deal my friend. Great phone that will last you with a good case for 4 years plus. I had to pay taxes up front and I did 2 phones at 300 each. 2 chargers too. Daughter got iphone13 (don't hate on her lol I already do) and I got the 21. She got glass and case add on. 220 out the door taxes and accessories....ouch. 140 a month coming over from sprint. Magenta plan with full migration from sprint. I'm happy. I hope you will be too.

I have thought for a good while that Samsung makes impressive handsets. Unfortunately, they use Android and it's full of bloatware. I think Samsung should make their own version of the operating system, similar to iOS. I think they would make a lot better version of software. I also don't think you can compare apps on the different operating systems. Android and iOS apps are not the same, and are not optimized the same. I've tried that between my iPhone and my wife's Samsung.

i have an s21 and i came from a lg stylo 3 and there are way less pre-installed apps and most of the pre-installed apps are able to be deleted. and the only ads I get within the UI are Samsung related stuff and no third party stuff. and Samsung did try making there own OS and it failed miserably. and I'm fine with one UI. I think it's pretty smooth and the only software skin better than it is stock android.

Got an iPhone for the first time in 15 years and hate it. Samsung is so much more user friendly. The keyboard alone on the iPhone 13 is enough for me to go back to Samsung. Everything is so much easier with Samsung. I wish I could list all the frustrations but I have a life. Just easier, more convenient. It seems like things you use every day, like typing and adding punctuation, reading emails etc. takes an extra click or 3. And that’s a big deal when you do it all day long. I’ve had it for about a week and plan on trading it in for Samsung. I laugh at iPhone now.

I'm currently using an S21 Ultra and thinking of getting my hands on my very first iPhone ever. Now I'm torn between the 12 Pro and the regular 13. In my country, I could get the 12 Pro for a slightly cheaper price (~60usd). Which one should I get??? I really love the design of the 12 Pro (esp in pacific blue) plus the versatility of the telephoto lens, but the better battery and camera on the 13 are soooo tempting.

I have the s21 + , just bought the iPhone 13 pro to see if it’s any good. Before trying the Galaxy I had every iPhone from the 3G up to the 12 pro, here’s my honest opinion; The Galaxy s21 is the first android that has kept me using android. It is excellent, camera’s are great, cell signal is far better than the iPhone. 120 hz refresh rate is far smoother than iPhone pro motion. Screen is much brighter, even though specs say otherwise I’m returning the iPhone, it’s too heavy, the battery life is not as good as Apple says, the Samsung lasts longer. The flat sides hurt my fingers. Not impressed

Got S21 Exnynos version coz I'm in Asia. After six months, it's performing very bad. I need to restart every day. If not, it would stutter and cannot run smoothly. I'll never buy Samsung with Exnynos again.

I just updated and love my s21 ... I will never go back to Iphone.. I love how I can customize my s21 and love it, I also love the s21 duel charging I can charge my watch on my s21.. So many reasons why I switched

Had a different experience. I switched from iPhone X to Galaxy s21 out of curiosity, but 2 months later switched to iPhone 13 out of anger. Android does have its advantages, but iphone wins my vote due to its predictable behavior and smooth interface (yeah, I prefer iPhone's 60 hz over choppy 120 on Galaxy s21). ! My Galaxy is the Exynos version.

The S21 has a superior PLASTIC back which won't shatter, is lighter, more flexible and costs much less to replace. The iPhone is stuck in the past with an old-fashioned glass back.

S21 battery is absolutely terrible. I was a samsung user for 10 years. Had the S20, was very happy. The S21 feels less snappy in use, battery is generally far worse. Can't even make it through a full day of moderate use. If its unplugged it loses close to 20% over night (7 hours). Lol.

There must be a reason why these 2 are internationally renowned even in 2021 and no 3rd brand can be on par with them. Which means samsung cant be worse than apple. There are certain aspects samsung wins over apple and what people choose is what they think matters to them most?? So quit being low EQ and accept that everyone has different priorities which leads them to buying diff models. Youre the reason why apple fans got a bad name. I personally choose samsun because i can biy a cheaper GB phone and buy different SD cards to customize my storage as well as my phone optimization.
