I think iPhone 16 Pro is gonna be the only phone with on device ai, with quick response. The other phones are likely to receive all ai features in iOS 18, but have to wait for the request queue for the cloud server.

New phones need solar panels to passively charge the battery.

I am still on my iPhone 13 Pro, but just looked on Amazon on my S23 Ultra for a "13 Pro MAX" at only $557. There is no better option for me right now, and the battery on my 13 Pro is at 90%. The 13 Pro Max is a 256 GB model.

I’m still using my iPhone 11 Pro and I’m super happy with it. Just had the battery replaced after buying the phone in 2020 and wearing the battery down to 75% capacity. I’m not getting rid of this phone until I can’t use it anymore or until the current iPhone really blows me away. The most noticeable downside of this phone for me these days is the shitty quality of the ultra wide lens.

@@Geoffr524The 13 pro and pro max are some of the greatest phones Apple ever made. Great battery life, beautiful screens, insane durability, and very versatile. You can’t go wrong with those for like $500-550.

Not only that it would look like a copy cat Android phone. I’d say it will stay as is until and unless it can go fully UDC which still doesn’t seem possible with current camera tech at an acceptable quality. Once removed the Dynamic Island functionality could still remain on demand in software only?

After getting Samsung I much rather a Dot looks more futuristic and with a 6.9 screen it's bound to make my S23 6.8 inch very jealous 😆

We’ve had iPhone leaks months ahead for years now. And I’ve been watching for years 80-90% of the rumors are usually true which actually makes me think Apple leaks them themselves.

Not gonna lie bro phones are starting to plateau in general. If you want an entirely new camera design switch phone brands or accept the physical change is far more incremental now because there isn’t that many more ways to make a phone.

i have an iphone 13 and i really dont feel that its gotten any slower and ive had it for 1.5 years now. im not saying that youre wrong, i just dont find that the older iphones are made slower on purpose.

Ive been on an iphone 11 pro since launch and its the same as i got it from day 1. The only time its been slow was last year when the battery health went down to 75. I replaced the battery myself using ifixit and since then its been back to normal.

Apple isn't the only one who does that though. Samsung is known for doing it as well. Seems like it's a tactic from the top 2 cause Google doesn't do it or any of the Chinese brands.

Shit bro, I'd say go to the 13 pro/promax. If anything, for the 120hz display...like seriously it does make a big difference compared to 60hz. My dad used a X for years and i got him to upgrade recently. Now he can't look at a 60hz display anymore, he says it gives him a headache lol

Hi long time Apple and Android user here. If you want to make the jump to Apple, I'd highly suggest just getting the newest device. If you were coming from let's say an iphone 12 or 13 I'd say don't, but new to iphone, go with the latest and greatest, which would be the 15 pro max. However, I'd also suggest the 14 pro/pro max, because there really wasn't much added to the 15 pro/pro max that the 14 couldn't do too. Now all that said, be warned going to Iphone. Any sort of customizability enjoyed on an Android, you will be losing. On an iphone it is very VERY bare bones basic. Like the home screen of apps will automatically place them in rows and you can't have any gaps unless you put a widget between them. You lock screen and home screen wallpaper will be the same, you can't change that to have two different wallpapers. Swiping down to get to quick screen is different on iphone as well. swiping down right of the dynamic island bring down notifications while swiping left of the dynamic island bring up your quick toggles and even then, some of your quick toggles are in a folder that you'll have to press and hold just to get access to them, like hotspot for example. You don't have quick access to settings like android when you swipe from the top, you'll have to physically put the settings app on your home screen which just takes up space since you can't customize the home screen and increase the rows of how many apps you can place on the a single home screen page. Like I said I've used both over the years and I do enjoy iphones and I am in no way bashing on Apple, but yeh, preparing you for a culture shock as you'll be losing out on a ton of features when switching from Android to Apple. Though the biggest annoyance I have with iphones, is even if you unlock your phone (face ID or pin) you have to swipe up to get to the home screen. There is no option to have it just go straight to the home screen after unlocking it. That's annoying as hell to me and wish Apple would fix that.

only be a mistake if you get a new iphone. If you go new device, get a new Android device, and not saying sell the 14, get a second device, though will say that the fact the 14 pro/promax got rid of sim cards does make having a secondary device a bit annoying.
