@@BMar1andonly the reason you need a screen protector is because paper feels like paper because of friction, if you design a higher friction Apple Pencil tip, you’ll either scratch the display, make another type of mark or remove the display coating over time. It’s only viable if you already have a screen protector on.

what would you like it to do? i use it all the time, for literally everything from sending messages, to setting alarms, todo lists, taking memos and notes... it works flawlessly with me - just curious what so many people would like to see improved? :)

@@amarugright now it’s okay for that stuff but it still misunderstands things a lot. I use it for all of that stuff plus my smart home through HomeKit.

It’ll only change how people with iPhones use them. Even then, every person I know who owns an iPhone doesn’t use Siri because it’s garbage. Lol

@@jaybird0312 On the off chance of repeating myself, Siri isn't anything fancy, but it works perfectly and does everything I need it to do. I use it 10x per day at least. For example when I am cooking and I realize I am out of a food item I just say "add XYZ to my groceries" and it does it, always, without mistakes or issues. i ask it to remind me of doing things, i ask it to set timers, alarms etc. i mean its just so lazy and easy, I wonder why you would not use it at least ocassionally. and also, i wonder, what is supposedly wrong with it, because I dont see it.

@@jaybird0312 Yeah, except that's not true. Apple makes separate icons set for iPhone, Mac and Vision Pro. Even tho iOS and MacOS icons have the same shape, they are different. MacOS icons are more detailed, they have shadows and highlights in them (skeuomorphic design), whereas iOS icons are plain (flat design). Look it up. Apple makes the icon sets very similar to make users be familiar with them. While I agree with you on Apple turning old and lazy things into "innovation", your point here is false.

Exactly, most people don’t realise how much thought and effort is put into Apple’s current square icons. The radius of curvature of the corners of the square icon exactly matches that of the screen corners. So many android manufacturers overlook this simple yet greatly powerful UI design.

Holy crap you're right. I never even thought of that. Every time I've used iOS after switching to android the navigation did seem a bit clunky. That is most likely a massive factor because I use my back gesture alllll the time

I’m kinda not sure what a universal back gesture is. You can go to the previous app by swiping right or left on the bottom bar.

ios should take pixels approach while maintaining their security becuase pixel is simple and easy to use but also less time consuming and doesn't violate prouductivity while ios is a very time consuming and unproductive and its getting bezer saying for the past 15 years that it just works, pixel used to be apple like boring and time consuming, but they have fine tuned there software and made it where its still simple and easy to use and still now maintaining there definition of smartphone which is something that is time saving and more productive, for example they need to fine tune there files apps and make it work more like a computer, there notes app, there calculator should have a history because its really annoying to clear if you mis type something or for that instance add the delete button, merge motification and control center into 1 in there own style while allowing you to sswipe from down from the botton instead of making you reach all the way till the top, add a back gesture like on android for so many years, allow us to resize the widget and allow us to plave our app and widget anywhere on the screen instead of forcing it to lock to certain position, they should add a clipboard, emojis button and the number pad on the top row instead of having to switch between letters and number, add a theme store and also bring split screen at the very least to the pro max or plus models.

I was 10 when iOS 7 released, after I updated my iPad Mini from iOS 6 I was really amazed by how different iOS 7 was. iOS 18 is making me feel the same excitement again I felt in 2013, here’s to iOS 18 being a good release.

one of the things I like about One UI is that they don't use circular icons like stock android comes with. If Apple actually changes to anything that looks like what is on the thumbnail of this video it wil be uglier

@@Cyanda the reason the circles work on the Apple Watch and the Vision Pro is due to the objects being staggered, since an iPhone does not align apps staggered, the circles would cause a minimal visual collision field.
