Destron Logical Just the camera and a better battery. But if you like to have a regular size as in my opinion it’s better to grab, so go for an iPhone 8.

mia moo the difference is obviously headroom....an already fluid running device with a larger storage capacity translates to less stress with file management....dumped my entire iTunes library on her and it barely made a dent....almost 2500 songs at 320 man! 😎🤙

Leo Jr it is not because it is newer that it is better. Nowadays quality have reduce compare to older devices. Like amplifier speakers car. There is a lot of things newer but not as reliable, or ergonomics or simply good quality. My old amplifier denon avr 3803 has far better component and sound quality that new amplifier. Yes it miss hdmi input but the sound is fabulous. The iphone 8plus has a screen more reliable, can be hold with hand to watch movie, screen is rotating in the car placed horizontally. Touch id works in all condition and in my car. Screen is larger to enter text. Screen is scratch resistant. All tings the new iphone11 pro is missing

CEXEBLY1 64 gigs is plenty of storage for photos and apps. Unless your a very demanding power user and need a lot of storage, 64 gigs is plenty. Also I suggest that you buy the Xr or the 11 instead of the 8 plus. The 8 plus is going to loose support for newer firmware earlier than the newer phones.

I just ordered the 11 pro max premium refurb from Amazon in Gold tone today. My 8plus has been great without any issues except for the battery dropping to 78% and the lightning port finally failing after years of use which I have now repaired. Looking forward to the 11 pro max but I am very certain I am going to miss the home button. I wish apple had kept a fingerprint reader on the phone but put it on the back like the Moto G7 Power models.

The 8 Plus has never let me down. The only tangible benefits imo to most people are the battery life and the cameras. But the 8 Plus is perfectly competent in those categories.....the improvements aren't worth twice the price.

Definitely display too and speed / power to some degree (certainly a big difference but both still functioning well) as well as things like face unlock if you prefer and design. There are actually a lot of things, but the 8 plus is still a good phone.

I loved my IPhone 8 Plus a lot, it was a good phone but I hated the battery running down so fast. My IPhone 11 Pro Max is so awesome. I love that it’s quicker to open the screen rather than use the thumb. The battery life is so much better. The camera and videos are the greatest quality. I can’t forget the sound quality either, it’s so much louder and clearer! It was worth the trade for me! ❤️

jonah travisano - My battery was still good on my IPhone 8 Plus, it was at 100% in my setting. I even disabled a lot of my apps so I could save battery life. However I still couldn’t use my phone long without having to charge my phone again. Which got frustrating after awhile.

Still using my 8+ I purchased March this year. I love it’s simple “older” design iPhone. I think Verizon has a trade in deal now if I take my 8+ in. Debating on it still 🙃

Dutch Ynehtam yes I made mistake and traded in my Verizon 8 plus with Qualcomm, for an AT&T 8 plus with Intel. I miss my Verizon 8 plus with Qualcomm, as it performed better.

Thanks for the great and informative review. Especially the camera samples. I had an iPhone 11 Pro Max but bought an iPhone 8 Plus just a month ago. Quite frankly I really enjoy using it. I love the 16:9 ratio. I don’t dig these tall aspect ratios on the newer phones. I’m still hoping for an iPhone SE plus, until then the 8 plus is the best iPhone for me.

I'm only here for the cameras and from what I can tell from your photo + video, a LOT has improved!! Lens aberration is nearly gone, camera shake is reduced when walking, because of the better aperture, the image is much brighter and more exact color is available. I'm very impressed that the front-facing camera is about as good as the back cameras. And who can compete with that battery life!? This video definitely solidified my purchase and I can't wait to pick mine up tomorrow! 😍 Target has $350 Target card with upgrade until tomorrow at 11:59PM. And since they're sold out EVERYWHERE I'm traveling an hour and a half one way. After watching this I know it'll for sure be worth it! 🤪

Using IPhone 8 unlocked. Best experience and Performance. Battery is a little jittery on ios 13. Hope further updates fix it. IPhone 8/8+ are good options if someone wants performance on a tighter budget. Great video cheers! :)

I went from XS Max to 11 Pro Max currently, and thrilled with the current phone. I skipped the 8 because my 7 plus performed well for over two years before going to the XS max. I did my first couple KZfaq vids with XSMax and it was great, 11 Pro Max since and it’s better in every way

It’s a great device in which i have nothing to complain abput it.. In terms of performance and speed which matter a lot for me, 8 plus is doing a great job and I don’t remeber that i had any single issue with it..

I went from a 8Plus to an 11 Pro Max in September. I wanted a larger display for watching video, a longer lasting batter which is fantastic and sure a higher quality camera system. While the 11 Pro Max is twice the price, it doesn’t seem to hurt the wallet as badly when your making monthly payments to a carrier. It took a few days to get used to no home button, but I LOVE face i.d. when signing into online accounts. I often catch myself swiping up to close apps when I occasionally use my 7 year old iPad...lol I don’t feel there’s a right or wrong choice, it’s purely a personal decision as to what works best in function and financially. Nice review!

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! I bought the 8 Plus a couple of months ago and i’m not upgrading any time soon. The camera is great (not as good as newer iPhones but still a very good camera), the screen is big, great battery life and the ios runs smooth as butter.

Yes I was waiting for this video! I own both. On my 8 plus I’d get 7-8 hrs screen on. On my 11 pro max I get 11-12 hrs screen on. Insane battery boost. Both phones are great. I typically upgrade every 2 years and when I saw that midnight green I had to get it. Also battery gain was huge for me.

I love the iPhone 8 plus i use it for all my vids and would miss the home button... Do have to say thanks for the Video and information. I have been thinking about getting the 11 pro Max but still sit in the fence about it

It’s easy to get used to not having a home button. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max & I recently used my iPhone 7+ but it felt so weird because I kept on swiping up to exit apps. And, I kept on pressing the volume button & open/close button to take a screenshot. So it’s really easy to get used to not having a home button.

I've got an 8+ and I've found people (especially online) judge it quite harshly. I think because it has the old classic design its assumed its not a good phone anymore. I've had mine for just over 2 years now and its still a fast and super reliable phone. Nearly 3 years after it was released its still competing on performance against the latest and top of the range iPhones. This video and quite a few others on KZfaq demonstrates perfectly how good the 8+ is. I'll be upgrading in October to the iPhone 12 Max but this 8+ is the best phone I have owned to date. I think I'll miss it. Still a good buy in 2020!!!

Watching this on my product red 8plus with 256GB of storage. I love this thing 🥰 Its so beautiful and it works so well. Honestly this phone was way underrated. Its LITERALLY the same thing as the iPhone X besides the physical differences. Also with the 8plus you save money and who doesn’t like that? Anyways thanks for this video 🙂

I have the 11 Pro Max since September and I use it without a screen protector. With the exception of one very very light scratch which you can only see under very harsh light and in a certain angle I have zero issues with scratches, and I don’t baby my phone. Other users had dozens of micro scratches on their screens within a few weeks. Weird.

I've said this many times... people will buy the iPhone 11 for the camera mostly... If you already own an iPhone 8+ Just buy a wide and Tele Lens for your phone instead of paying extra for a new phone lol. Your pictures will come out as if they were taking by an expensive camera. Other than that the iPhone 8+ is a beast and really not worth upgrading really.

I personally got the 8Plus last year because I love the “Home Button” I get that phones now a days want a full screen. But I’m so used to the button. I’m always watching videos like this to get an understanding of how to use the phone without a physical home button. Perhaps I’ll upgrade in the next year or 2. But the 8+ is awesome and doing me just fine. Just hope Apple don’t update me phone to not work as well as it used to. 😅
