I wouldn’t have been able to get the 11 if not for monthly payments. Walked out the store with the phone by only paying the $50 sales tax, and I’ll pay $23 a month for 30 months.

Apple: Eh we’re running out of ideas let’s just copy the XR and put another camera EDIT: Thanksgiving, 2020, Got the iPhone XR. Just realized that the 11 has 4GB of ram, a bigger battery and A13 Bionic. The XR has 3GB of ram, a smaller battery and the A12 Bionic EDIT EDIT: Thanksgiving Weekend, 2021, Hi guys! EDIT: May 2024, got the iPhone 15 in December and it blows both these phones out the water, still sucks that Apple is copying their phones and adding small updates

For how many years IPhone can be used? I can easily use mid range android for 4 years. I also heard some saying that with updates Apple slows down phone to preserve battery. Google it

I still have the iPhone XR. I really love my iPhone XR. And I won’t be upgrading soon, I’ll just wait until my Xr dies. Battery life is amazing on my Xr.

I'll have the 11 this week and will be able to take portraits of everything (something I do a lot of), will be able to get great wide angle shots during travel and hiking trips, and will get better battery life than the XR. Glad I waited.

The iPhone XR is still fast and the cameras aren’t bad at all. It literally only comes down to cameras or if you want the latest iPhone.

That's what keep people from buying Iphones, and that's one of the reasons that I stay up to date with the latest android, because it has features that I actually will use, not useless and broken ones like iphone puts out.

Josh Patra That is, until your Android device is no longer being supported by Google after like 2-3 years. Apple gets way too much shit for the way they design their flagship phones considering every other manufacturer does the same thing with theirs, allowing their products to become obsolete within a year. I guess the fact that Apple products are seen as status symbols (and don't usually provide as many affordable options like Android does considering Androids of a similar price are often more powerful than their iPhone counterparts) plays a part in it though.

Android manufacturers get way too much shit for the way they design their flagship phones considering they're just following Apple's shitty manufacturing standards, meaning that with each new Apple keynote, the past iPhone becomes obsolete and useless, rendering them as a status symbol null and void unless, and hear me out, unless you go out and buy the NEW IPHONE 11 PRO MAX S F R E Z X 12308 PRO because this phone has 12380914 Cameras and gives you an infinite megapixel camera for the low price of 18340591823409821$! I don't stick with affordable androids, because for the same price as an apple iPhone, I can get so much more with a flagship android that you cannot get, so take all of your bullshit, and shove it up your ass, because it does not matter to me at all. When I was broke, I used a flagship Samsung for 6 years, and with just a little tweaking to the software, was able to make it work just like new running Lineage OS, and Apple doesn't give you the ability to do jackshit on your iphones. So no matter what you're gonna say, you're wrong. Androids customizability will always outweigh the social status that is having an Iphone.

I’ve had my XR for almost two years and love it! I WOULD like the dual cameras because that’s what I use my phone for, much of the time. The battery life with my XR is great as well. I usually get more than a day out of the phone with using it for texts, a few games, and photos.

Great video, Aaron! Well done, as always. Picked up the XR in May on a great deal. Upgraded from a 6 Plus, which I had for 5 years after previously owning a few Android phones (which frustratingly hardly ever received updates) and a few Blackberry models over the years. For that reason alone, I was glad to make the move over to iOS. Very happy with the XR, especially for what I paid for it. Still getting used to not having a Home button, due to currently being the owner of an iPad Mini 4. No reason for me to upgrade to the 11 at this point, but I wish I could take portrait shots of my dogs with the XR. That's the only thing its really missing. Camera works fine, but I wish it had better low light performance like with the 11. I can honestly give the XR a 8.5 to a 9 out of 10 rating. I can live with this phone for at least 2 years, and possibly as long as 5 years, like I did my 6 Plus. I highly recommend it, especially now with the new price points. If you can spare the extra coin, go for the 11. If not for just the camera improvements and the battery, but also the (reportedly) improved connectivity/signal performance.

Wow you even matched the icons! Great attention to detail. If I had to buy a phone today:11, but to my eye in the majority of your photos the XR more than kept up. Plus I just really love my coral XR, you have to see it in person it’s a great color.

Love my XR and decided to keep it for the year. However, in doing videos or for better wide angle shots, etc., I bought an Oloclip lens to enable me to wait for the 2020 iteration of iPhones. And it saves me money on an excellent low-cost purchase I got on my XR. Been a great phone in every respect - battery has been stellar and I use this phone a ton.

In June 2019 I went from SE to the XR. The price and cellular package for the XR was too good to pass up. If I waited for the 11 I wouldn’t have gotten as sweet a deal. I’m enjoying the XR and I agree with Aaron the camera is lacking a bit compared to the 11. Over all I’m very satisfied with the features and speed of the XR. Now if Apple can get iOS 13 working the way it’s supposed to, everything will be great!

After Apple dropped price in Xr during the IPhone 11 launch. I have decided to buy the Xr. I thought this may be the right time to buy the Xr. It’s no where lesser than iPhone 11 for a general user like me. Moved from iPhone SE to Xr. I love the dual sim option. I was carrying two iPhone.

Bought an XR about a month ago. Absolutely love it. The 11 is only worth the extra $100 if your someone really into photography. Other than that, the differences simply aren't worth that extra $100.

This is how I feel too. I want to switch back to iOS and I could do the 128gb XR for $50 less than the 64gb 11. I'm so bad at deleting stuff and am currently using 70% of the storage in my phone now. How is face ID treating you? I didn't like it too much but heard it got better with iOS 13.

Alyssa Alvarez the Face ID on the xr is really good I have the XR in white from metro. It works good but if you coming from the headphone jack and home button it’s going to feel weird because when i pick up my phone I’m kind of waiting on the lock to unlock my Face ID soo Don’t look at that just pick it up and swipe up🤣 I’m so late but you probably got it by now. It’s a really good phone.

The 11 will get an extra year or two of software support due to the newer and more used A13. Still though, the XR is a fine phone and compared to your buddies with androids.. you’ll be having a much better experience for much longer.

I just got a Yellow XR. The bezel is kinda thick compared to my Xiaomi phone , but The XR is a gorgeous phone, and I think it actually looks good with the thicker bezel. Imagine, we call this a thick bezel, and we just got rid of the home button a few year ago which required huge bezels in comparison. The 8 Plus and the XR are the same size, it's just that the XR has a lot more screen.

7:34 Useful Tip! I know a trick where you can use the portrait mode of anything (face, objects & more) even if you dont have any of those iphones, this works on samsung also! What to do: You need instagram on your phone, open it up and swipe to where you can take a photo. Now there will be some effects you can add and you should find one called "focus" , there you can choose the level of how blurry other stuff will be around the thing you want to portrait and end up in a good looking picture. Then you can just save to gallery.
