I think it broke because the hammer hit the side of the glass. And after it breaks a little bit it loses its integrity and wont sustain further hits. But what i was most interested in is seeing any glass phone WITHOUT a screen protector being hit. I mean most of those hammer hit proves that the protector saved the phone are so shitty. And here you can see that the phone will tank the first few hits without a problem.

Rhas 'Churol nop it all depends on the fall if hammer gets the perfect fall on the phone it will break and same with fall It survived head height 3/3 times but if it gets a perfect fall from your knee it will break its called the Point where its hitting the ground or getting hit Atm the hammer hit the edge spot exactly where the screen goes ( and fell under a so so 45* angle, If i dropped a hammer on your head you would probably die if its that heavy if on your leg youd survive

@Jake Morales yes but the sides of an IPhone aren’t very well known to be strong, also Apple is meant to sustain a drop or two definitely, but when you hit it that force is being exerted back and forth (just read Newton’s first law in shit at explaining it) which will break it. Also this problem has been solved, I had my IPhone 11 for 1 year and dropped it over 100 times and only now has it cracked, even with no case or screen protector.

don't know about a phone, but i randomly had a flatpack furniture once drop onto my laptop lol. stupid me was building the furniture in a new house and had my laptop out before finishing it :'). had a dent in the lid but worked fine nonetheless :p
