To have a bigger screen, faster cell, super fast charger it’s worth it to me. I’m getting a case tomorrow and black ice screen as well. My mind is made up. I’m paying the same amount as I paid when I got my Samsung S8 damn bear 3 years ago. So for me it’s worth it. Money is no object so I’m in.

Bought a 10s Max for $340 off Facebook Market Place, has a cracked back but for $20 I can order one off eBay and fix it. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and I love the phone. The cameras are nice to have on the newer iPhone but no need to spend the extra money when the 10s MAX is a great phone already.

They kept the same design for 4 years with the 6,6s,7 and 8. I doubt they'll change much next year

I heard rumors they will bring it back the fingerprint next year. If not, hopefully they will improve the tracking angle of face recognition which seems to be impossible. So i just guess finger sensor should be better introduced. For some it does not matter (fingerprint). But for other people like me, when i put my phone on the table, finger sensor is very usefull.

A friend just upgraded from 6S to XS Max (like new with 99% battery, I'm guessing old overstock never sold before maybe?) and now I'm torn between the XS max and 11 Pro Max. For me, going from the 6, I think the camera upgrade is worth the $200 price difference on the renewed/ refurbished market right now. You forgot to mention that 3D Touch is not available on the 11 series of phones and that may be a big issue for some.

I strongly believe that if Apple doesn’t purposely slow down iPhones, people would upgrade less frequently especially considering the crazy prices! Having said this, my first ever iPhone was the 4 which I got in May 2011. I upgraded to 6 Plus in November 2014 and again to Xs Max in December 2018. The 4 & 6+ are still functioning but with issues like lagging and battery draining ultra fast. So yeah, price-wise, definitely upgrade after 2 years at least. But performance-wise, if you got your iPhone brand new, use it and enjoy it for 3 or even 4 years! Then, when you upgrade, you definitely will see the difference!!

Preenses Carlos change your battery also updating apps will add more features to those apps along with updating IOS keep in mind your older phone has less ram so when you update so much along with your battery decreasing in performance your phone goes slow. Apple slowed down cpu because battery was decaying in capacity and couldn’t power the phone to full performance just change battery and that will be fixed. I have iPhone 6 with new battery and it runs smooth on iOS 12.1.4

Almost the first thing he says is wrong. Both the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone 11 Pro Max (as well as the iPhone X, XS, and 11 pro) have a surgical grade stainless steel enclosure which presides much greater durability from not only drops but also everyday scratches.

I had the XS match but changed to a Galaxy Note 10 which was a mistake as it had some much lag when connected to android auto. Everything just slowed down and this also happened when not connected. I have purchased the 11 Pro max now and it is awesome in every way. Staying with Apple from now on.

Please help me with your advice. I’m currently stuck with an iPhone 6S Plus. And I’m wondering which iPhone I should buy between those two. 11 Pro Max really temps me for 3 things: longer battery, more powerful chip and faster Face ID. Though, I’m still interested in XS Max for 2 things: lower price (yes.) and the fact that it still has *3D Touch,* which I use ALL THE TIME, like right now, typing this very comment, to go back and edit previous text precisely by pressing hard on the keyboard. 11 Pro Max would force me to use the space bar and is longer to activate. I also use 3D Touch to quickly swap between apps and using the multitask mode. Would that be enough to buy a XS Max?

I was looking forward for buying the 11 pro but i like using 3d touch so i bought xs max (512 gb) ..! with 11 month warranty remaining for close to 720$.. it’s overwhelming how much features i missed all these years..! I upgraded from the Xs to 11 pro max my reason for upgrading was more storage bigger screen better camera and that impressive battery life, my battery life has been the most noticeable upgrade followed by the camera well worth the upgrade
