I used this video on Friday and after running for 2 hours my IPS glow and image retention was gone. But when I opened my laptop today(monday) issues are back again. Why its coming back? Anyone knows the permanent solution?

Never buying an LCD again. I got a brand new IPS LED Bravia two months ago and it's already full of black spots. This little video did help to make them fainter, but not by much. Sony totally refused my request for a replacement, of course. Those greedy idiots claim that numerous black spots on a practically brand new screen are "normal".

Thank you very much! This has partially fixed the issue on my end. I was playing a Gamecube (via hdmi) on my computer monitor (IPS) and left to do something for an hour, while the console remained on. When I got back and turned the console off, I was met from rows of vertical lines that wouldn't go away even after disconnecting the hdmi. My computer monitor is a large 1440p and costed over 500$. The sheer panic was emense. I used many of helpful videos such as this in hopes to remove those lines and it did. I also turned off my PC for 15min and turned it on again for several times. In about an hour, those vertical lines did go away, although sometimes I can see a very faint image, but the monitor would have to be completely black to see them. I'm sure they'll go away eventually. Next time I'll use a portable monitor (less than 200$) before risking the more expensive ones.

today worked like a charm in my HP Z23n, amazing, I was playing retroarch and leaved a snes game on like for an hour and some leters where burned on the screen, thanks to this test there is not a hint of that problem, thanks so much!!!

Thanks a lot dude, if this didn't exist i literally would have to throw away a nice 1080p monitor that I got like a month ago. After turning my monitor off for a few mins, all of my pixels even close to the rim, or my entire fucking monitor get this white glow. After playing this for around 30 mins its completely fixed. I just start this on loop before I go to school and its perfect when I get back. I can't resell this monitor because of the glow. You literally saved me my entire wallet. Thanks man.

I left FIFA 22 menus running while I was having dinner .. When I came back i noticed those menus on a dark background.. Found this video and it fixed it! Tip: run it on full brightness

I run this as probationary therapy for my screens. It fixes even TN panel backlight bleed, as long as you run it consistently when not using PC.

This works. BUT leave it for like 10 Minutes and max brightness! Also you should never use max brightness on your phone and have static images for too long thats how you prevent burn in
