Does anyone else ever sit back in amazement that lectures like this, that in the past would have cost tens of thousands of dollars to attend are now just freely available on the internet? The future is pretty dang cool

I watched this series up to lecture 26 about 5 or so years ago and I was fearful I would never find it again. A few clicks searching for 'European history, lectures' later, I finally found out this mans name and accessed this again by searching 'Ferdinand, WWI'. Hurrah!

This is an excellent set of lectures. Frankley, I'm disappointed that It has received so few 'views'.

That’s because he doesn’t say anything about the alien’s who are controlling the world throughout the history of the world. Nor does he mention anything about the world flat or the other possibility that it is really hollow. And what the Giant’s the US was fighting in the caves of Afghanistan. Why anyone to learn anything so boring as history and human nature when there so many more lectures that are as entertaining as Star Wars or the lord of the rings.

Prof McMeekin, next time you do this lecture, use the movie 13th Warrior for your example of European backwardness compared to Muslim culture during the middle ages.
