It's always good to see someone thank the guard for allowing his picture to be taken (or possibly for his service?). They're not there as a tourist attraction, the history and tradition are important.

Why do people who are terrified of the horse run up to the horse anyway? They just make fools of themselves. The young man at the beginning was scared to death, then decided to brandish his fists in the horse's face. Pissed me off!

I agree on the horses'names, but for the guards it would not be the best choice for their privacy, to say the least. Better leave them alone.

Their are a few horse's names I know They are Arni is sweet and sensitive nature but knows when it's time to be serious at work Ormonde is known to bite and push the tourists away he doesn't take b.s from them both are fantastic with babys and veterans and disable people as are all the horses I only know two royal guards names a they are both similar in appearance I agree with the other comment we must protect their names and give them and their family the privacy they deserve

6:54 It is a heartwarming moment when both parents show up for a visit. Please take a look at how happy the guardsman is. If that were me, I would run and hug and kiss Mom and Dad. But speaking to them is what would be sufficient for now. Just being there is amazingly beautiful.

Always a lovely sight when a guards parents visit them whilst they're on duty. In this case I noticed the reaction in seating to a more upright position once the parents had gone. No matter what, all the guards (and their horses), who serve in the military and to His Majesty, do an absolutely wonderful job❤

Yes, they get days off, weekends usually and they can go home. During the week they stay at the barracks though. They are allowed to marry and have children.

Where? Do you mean the plumes on the helmets? If so they designate regiments. The Blues and Royals have a red plume, the LifeGuards a white.

Aww the guards parents made him so happy made me tear up. I remember visiting my son he was a Navy Diver I was so overwhelmed with pride. ❤
