ایک معاملہ اسوقت تک شخصی اور ذاتی رہتا ہے جب تک کہ اس کے اثرات اس شخص کی ذات تک محدود رہیں۔ جب کسی شخص کے کسی عمل کے اثرات معاشرے پر منفی انداز میں ظاہر ہوتے ہوں اور وہ باعث فتنہ ہوں تو وہ عمل شخصی اور ذاتی نہیں رہتا۔ مثلاً ایک عورت اپنے گھر باتھ روم میں اپنے تمام کپڑے اتار کر ننگی ہو جائے تو اس کے اس عمل پر کسی کو اعتراض کرنے اور سزا دینے کی اجازت نہیں ہوگی۔ یہ اس کے اور اس کے رب کے درمیان رہے گا۔ لیکن اگر وہ کپڑے اتار کر سڑکوں پر اجائے گی تو اسے اس عمل سے منع کرنا اور اسےسرزنش کرنا اور باز نہ آنے کی صورت میں سزا دینا معاشرے کے نظم و ضبط کو برقرار رکھنے والوں کی ذمہ داروں ہوگی اور برائی کو ہاتھ سے روکنے کی یہی ایک صورت ہے۔

اسلام وعلیکم۔ احترام کے ساتھ آپ کی بات سے اختلاف کرتا ہوں ۔ آپ کی یہ بات کسی حد تک ٹھیک ہے کہ حکومت کو عوام کی ذاتی زندگی میں مداخلت کی اجازت نہیں ہونی چاہیئے لیکن یہ بات ذاتی زندگی تک ٹھیک ہو سکتی ہے وہ بھی کچھ شرائط کے ساتھ۔ یہاں مسئلہ اجتماعی زندگی کا ہو جب آپ اپنی ذات کے علاوہ دوسرے لوگوں میں جاتے ہیں یا ان لوگوں میں جو آپ کی محرمات میں سے نہیں ہیں تو پھر آپ کے لئے احکامات الگ ہیں ۔ عورت کے لئے پردہ یا مرد کو نظریں نیچے رکھنے کا حکم اجتماعی جگہوں کے لئے ہی دیا گیا ہے نہ کہ اپنے گھروں کے اندر کے لئے ۔ ہم کیسے کسی شخص کو چاہیے وہ عورت ہو یا مرد یہ اجازت دے سکتے ہیں کہ آپ اپنی ذاتی حیثیت میں جیسا چاہیے لباس پہن کر اجتماع میں چلے جائیں اور پھر ان کی ذاتی پسند کی حد کیا ہوگی ۔ دین ذاتی پسند کا نام تو ہے ہی نہیں اللہ کے حکم کے تابع خود کو کرنے کا نام ہے۔ ہمارا ہر عمل اللہ کے حکم کے مطابق ہی ہونا چاہیئے۔ مجھے تو آج تک سمجھ میں نہیں آیا کہ انسان باوقار لباس کو چھوڑ کر ایسا لباس کیوں اپنانا چاہتا ہے جو اللہ کو پسند نہیں۔ دوسری بات یہ کہ حکمران کو عوام منتخب کریں تو اس کا نتیجہ آپ پاکستان میں دیکھ لیں کیا نکلتا ہے۔ اسلام بلکل یہی کہتا ہے کہ حکمران کا انتخاب ہو گا مگر عوام نہیں بلکہ خواص کریں گے جن امور حکومت چلانے کا تجربہ ہو وہی یہ انتخاب کریں گے کہ کون زیادہ اہل ہے امور مملکت چلانے کے لئے ہمارے یہاں تو 49 پڑھے لکھے ایک طرف ہوں اور 51 چرسی موالی دوسری طرف تو 51 کی بات مانی جائے گی 49 کی نہیں تو یہ کونسا نظام ہے۔

The compulsion for hijab has its adverse effect also.I narrate a real story. This happened in Finland. There was a party of girls and boys, a Muslim boy ( actually my son) saw an Iranian girl taking pork he immediately went to the girl saying you seem to be Muslim and you taking pork ,She replied you are talking about that Islam ' One day some portion of my hair came out from my Hijab they dragged me on the road and took me to the Police Station . In Iran there is a moral Police that does all sorts of these non sense. In Saudi Arabia there is a moral Police too ,generally called Mutawwa that did all sorts of these nonsense bu now their wings have been clipped and they have become powerless so now it is alright there

There is no comparison of Iran with Saudi Arabia/ Afghanistan since in ran women's hv every right to do anything but within the boundaries defined by Quran. Ghamdi sb is very much convinced about the secularism and he is more flexible towards western countries

As always not a day of shame a day wasted for Ghamdi. Govt has the right to implement what it thinks good for the society. West let loose the society and now they are paying the price. 50000 women died in 2020 by intimate partners and 60 died in west. Govt has right to implement its authority.

There are a lot of Iranians who are now non-religious and even ex-Muslims. What do you expect when religion is forced on someone? You think they will love it? No! Do you think they will want to follow extremist interpretations of religion forced on them? And let's not pretend that Muslims all agree with one interpretation of Islam. Not all of them follow the same interpretation or translations so some Muslims really need to stop trying to impose their beliefs on others. The misogyny in the Muslim community is high. Both islamophobes and Muslims are obsessed with Muslim women's clothing, yet men? They're chilling wearing what they want and going where they want.

Javed Ghamdi Sahab, with all you due respect to your experience and linguistics, you have erred by making a sweeping statement: "Islamic ruler does not have a right to interfere in personal matters of people". I agree personal matters dealing only with Huqooqullah within the confines of your house is not enforced by rulers except through Waaz-o-Nasihat but if your personal freedom creates a public unrest then the rulers are obliged to interfere. This is based on the famous Fiqh principle… "Public interest takes precedence over Personal Interest". Maintaining Haya in the society is a Public Interest and a person can be enforced to maintain it even if it is against one's personal interest. I am just quoting 1 example of maintaining Haya in Public enforced by Sayyidina Umar (ra) during his blessed rule: ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allah be pleased with him) was patrolling in Madinah when he heard a woman chanting some verses of poetry in which she was saying: “Is there a way to get some wine to drink, and is there a way to be with Nasr bin Hajjaj?” He summoned him and found that he was a handsome youth, so he shaved his head, but it only made him better looking. So he exiled him to Basra lest the women be tempted by him. Then he sent word asking to return to his homeland, and stated that he had done nothing wrong, but ‘Umar refused to give him permission and said: Not so long as I am alive. [The story was mentioned by more than one of the scholars, including as-Sam‘aani in al-Ansaab (3/156), Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah in several places in Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa (11/552, 15/313, 28/109, 28/371), Ibn al-Qayyim in I‘laam al-Muwaqqi‘een (4/284), al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar in al-Isaabah (6/382), Ibn Muflih in al-Adaab ash-Shar‘iyyah (3/132), and others.] May Allah SWT guide us to the correct understanding and preaching of His Deen. Aameen

I respect Gamdhi sahab but this is something that is against the essence of Islam.Islam is a complete way of life which has its own code of conduct for the Ummah as a whole.As per your interpretation if every such issue is limited to an individual personality then there will be no islamic system at all.
