Who's actually responsible could go all the way back to 2016, Facebook and Cambridge Analytica who stole Facebook user data in order to specifically target users who fell in certain algorithms with propaganda during the 2016 elections in favor of Donald Trump. People who post about guns were specifically useful. Didn't you sign up for the civil lawsuit when Facebook was found liable for the Cambridge Analytica data breach? I did. It's still quite public. As far as I know Facebook never cut the checks to those of us who had our personal information breached.
