In my country you can own any semi-auto firearm, there is no limitation on mags capacity or gun lenght so no stupid sbr tax stamp here, my gov. doesn't care if you have 16 inch AR-15 or 5 inch :) , silencers(suppressors) are completely legal and we even have small 2A in our Constitution(passed few months ago). There are certain rules thou like you need to be at least 18y old to own and 21y old to carry(conceal only), also you need to pass background check and pass exam(test+safe manipulation+shooting) before police give y your gun licence( y use it for buying and for conceal carry), all guns have to be registered. And you need multiple types of ammo for different firearms purposes #2 conceal carry insurance is a smart investment to protect yourself and your property when god forbid you ever have to use your ccw to protect. #3 the amount of time suck you have to invest learning where you can carry, where you can’t and how to travel while carrying and not catch a felony.

While working in retail gun sales i constantly had to contend with "know it alls" trying to get a customer to buy some exotic gun--which at times the customer would do. I tried to steer customers away from firearms having very expensive --hard to get--magazines. Frequently the gun came with only one magazine. One customer bought a handgun which came with only one mag. I explained this to him and he discounted my advice. Three weeks later he was back--hoping we might have a spare. We did not. He had only been able to find single spare magazine--at $62 EACH--and with shipping it cost just under $80. He was almost crying as he realized he made a very bad choice and he was stuck with it!! The gun was inexpensive though!! LOL!
