@@ParabenConsumerSoftware I read the instructions that are on the device that took me through the updated setup instructions. I downloaded iTunes and setup up a backup. When I started the process of acquiring all the information, I put in my password. So it acted like it was working for a long time. But when I check the results, the only thing that comes up is the phone information and bluetooth/wireless settings. Nothing on everything else. Other data is what comes up, and it's not a lot. We really need this to work, so we can try to check on someone that is possibly after our daughter. This person seams to be pretending to by a teenager and trying to meet up with our daughter without our knowledge. But I'm guessing this person is doing video chat that is accessed with a code and then there is no real trace of what is actually going on. IDK I was hoping this would helps us find out where this person is. Police sayd if she travels across state line and abducts our daughter, it would be considered a felony, but they can't help us without a court order, which could take months. This person has attempted to meet up with our daughter 3 times already. Claiming to be a teenager, going to fly across the county to visit all alone. When caught on a live video chat, she dodges questions and doesn't give a real answer. We really need info off this phone before we give it back to her. But it seems it isn't working properly.

It will not get any data from the iCloud account, only data stored directly on the phone.

For the most recent versions of iOS, the method to retrieve the most user data possible from the phone is to create an iTunes backup file with a password. After that, when you do a recovery, you will enter that password and the iRecovery Stick will be able to get text messages as well as all the other user data.

It can get WhatsApp messages but not deleted messages.
