In May 2024, my wife and I took a 1900 mile round trip to Ireland and down part of the Wild Atlantic Way on our motorbikes. It's the first time we've ever visited the Emerald Isle, and was a bit of a whistle stop tour as we only had 8 nights there.
This video is the second episode in a short series of how we got on. Hope you enjoy it!

Another great vid. Funnily enough we're staying in Westport on our trip in July. The film the Quiet Man was made there and we have tickets for the tour.🙂FB

Thank you 🙏. It’s a pity we didn’t have long to explore around that area as it did seem very nice and worth another visit.

Thank you so much. I hope you have a great time. We didn’t do the Ring of Kerry due to time constraints, but loved the Beara and Sheep Head peninsula’s as they were much quieter. Avoid the Gap of Dunloe at the weekend as we found out which will appear in a later episode. I just need to get quicker at editing 😆.

Thank you so much Adi, really appreciate it. I’m really new to all this video stuff, so it’s great to hear you liked the video. I just need to get quicker at editing them 😂. The WAW is a great route to do so if you get the chance, you won’t regret it.

Enjoyed the coverage thanks. I'm staying at the Woodfield hotel in July. How is the parking for the bikes?? Did you have any trouble finding a spot, and did you have to pay?? Thanks for your help. Dave😊

Hi Dave, thank you for your comment. There is on-road parking directly outside the hotel and we managed to get a space almost directly outside even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon. The hotel is on a one way system so you may have to go around a couple of times to find a space. The parking is free and our bikes seemed safe enough. The hotel itself is nothing special, but is clean and the breakfast is good. I hope you have a great trip 😁. Cheers, Mark.

Thank you for you comment, it’s really appreciated! I’ll take your tip about the beer onboard the next time we visit Ireland. You have to bear in mind though, that my normal drink is real ale, which is invariably brown, warm and sometimes tastes like sh.. 🤣
