Can Ireland abandon its nonaligned stance and be part of a EU military force?

I'm wondering what Irish People think about new idea in relation to EU federation that Germans and French want to be in charge ..no much in Irish media about this , and people should be a worry what is on the way ..as Bruxelle" or better to say Berlin is not looking for a cooperation with US as they more likely will take care of relationships with Russia .. countrys like Ireland and any other small country will loose ability to make decisions about own countrys ..taxes etc. The new super Europe is nothing less then communism .. as main decisions in relation to own country will be in German and French people ...that will be in charge of the new federal EU ...so US get ready to pay taxes ...the free Irish taxes will end up with the day when Ireland will lose ability to decide about own taxes
