In my town (Lille), SO many people came from Ireland. And ALL of them were SO amazing. They respected our streets, did not throw anything on the ground. They were polite, funny, and respected our police officers, our merchants, and all French people who worked or wanted to have fun. They left wonderful memories for almost all French people in Lille (I can't speak for everyone of course). Many friendships were born from this event, in the north of France. It was awesome ! We love you !

Irish great people not only as fans but also standing with the oppressed Palestinians. Love to visit Ireland and mingle with these down to earth folks.

I love Irish people. I’m a taxi driver and there’s a few Irish blokes in my town. I love picking them up, they’re so friendly, funny and love a good yarn. Even offer me to come out and drink with them after my shift. Though I can’t understand basically anything they’re saying, especially when they’re talking to each other, they’re great blokes! 😊

Irish people are the greatest! I was in Dublin in october 2015 and was out on the night that Ireland beat Germany 1-0, I believe it was, to qualify for Euro 2016. We were at dicies or o'reilly's or something like that, a club. We left at about 2-3am and noticed a huge flock of people down the road and turned out they were having a street party literally in the middle of the road and cars couldn't pass by. The garda came and did absoloutely nothing and I asked them if they were going to do something about it and just responded that "unless they aren't breaking anything nah" and at that moment I just loved the Irish people even more. We partied with them for like an hour there I think and was something I will never forget. Also pretty sure it was a thursday night so people had work/school next day. Amazing!!

I actually was in Paris that time and rode the subway with the Irish people going to the match. They sang songs and lightened the mood of everyone around. I especially loved it when they sang Pippi Longstockings :D One of my most memorable days
