YES, and that is why they are the biggest and most popular group in world and why they sell out 50-60K stadiums in mins if you even get a chance to buy tickets because they are usually sold out before they officially go on sales. They are far and well beyond K-pop and are the only SK group able to compete with and out sell American artist and win. Discography is huge. The rap line is King, the vocal line is King, and the dance line is King. Put them all together...KINGS.

Each one of the member in BTS is an ace. Thats crazy to me. 10 years in, they still maintain their energy, work ethic and humbleness. Never lazy w their crafts. Often praised as very hardworking also very kind to people depsite being THE biggest band in the world not just kpop.

Kpop is huge industry and BTS is half of it and all rest kpop is the other half. BTS is one of those few artists in this world (no other from kpop) who can sold out gigantic stadiums. BTS is involved their music since begining which was/still is quite rare in k-pop. If you jump into BTS rabbit hole... There are 300+ songs, solos, mixtapes, their japanese versions/songs, rap- and vocal-line songs, different BTS unit-, collab- and cover-songs, live conserts, awardshows... They have own variety-, travel- and vacation-shows, docu-series, behind shooting scenes/making MVs... and internet full of fanmade BTS clips... and lots of more... even when they all will be in the military soon (they are not yet) there will be so much content coming from Bighit (their company) they have a vault full of pre-recorded content. there will be surely some music/collabs and such, dance practices reality/variety show type content , behind the scenes, talk shows and on and on. Plus, there is already a BIGGGG documentary on Disney + advertised to be released sometime next year.

BTS is in a class all their own. Please name me another band specially in the past 15 years that comes close to the level of mastery and competence and showmanship these men do - they sing (their voices are impeccable), they rap (with meaningful lyrics and bars for days and days), they dance masterfully, they write their own music (all are credited musicians), they actively contribute to producing their songs and their videos, they create their own content and concepts among other things. No other KPop bands come near…some even swear they are the GOAT! Please don’t just carelessly lump them in with other KPop groups - while they are all Korean, their discography (over 275 songs) runs the gamut of all genres so they are not just a pop group. Their accomplishments and productions speaks to the level of mastery they have on their craft. Yes I am ARMY and proud of supporting this greatly deserving band.

BTS is on top of the food chain for K-Pop. There's no other group that's on the same level as them. These are disciplined, focused, hardworking professionals. As for rap music, the rap line in BTS are phenomenal rappers. These boys are world class. And there's lots of Male and Female groups with rappers in them. But Blackpink is very well packaged by YP Entertainment to pursue the Western market, which is why you hear about them, before any other female group. Of course Big Hit & Hybe also do the same thing but BTS's rise to fame was forged in fire by different means. And not only is BTS the top of Male Groups, but also all K-Pop and are the biggest band globally. You should check out the MV's for ON KINETIC MANIFESTO and BLACK SWAN. They also have dance practices that will blow your mind.

Fyi from one Irish person to another, K-pop is an *industry* not unlike the American music industry. It's not a genre. It's a production style and business model. Virtually every musical genre is represented within the K-pop industry. For example, BTS has dozens of genres that they do. and in fact often mix two or three genres in the same song. BTS leader RM just released a solo album, Indigo, which has ten tracks, and each track is a different genre. All the tracks contain some rap or hip hop, which are genres in themselves. About the brain computing how in sync they are, when you watch a team play football, you don't say to yourself I can't see how these guys can work together as a team and make their way down the field defending or pushing as needed, to either make a goal or defend one. Instead, you mentally acknowledge that they have been training in myriad ways to reach a top level of fitness and skill for the positions they are covering. Only thing that's different here is in the West we are taught to see musical arts and other arts as something entirely different from sport, when in fact they are just sport plus a little extra grace because part of the game of the arts is to bring some form of joy to the on-looker.

This Run BTS dance practice is nothing short of AMAZING! I was lucky enough to see these guys in concert in Dec 2021 in LA with my daughter. (I was anticipating the military duties). BTS is the real deal. I do not know how they have kept up the pace they are at, especially the past 3-4 yrs when their popularity exploded. They are so hard-working, talented, and humble individuals. Their live concert was hands-down the best I’ve ever seen. They adore their fans, and try to interact as much as they can with them. I saw people of all ages, races, and genders. Dads with daughters, people with canes, walkers, and even a scooter! Practically everybody loves BTS! You should check out the Busan concert. They start with Mic Drop, and then go straight into Run BTS. These guys are truly incredible. Looking forward to more BTS from you… 💜

Most BTS fans “army” are not into kpop. Kpop community don’t like BTS and ARMY bec most of army are the gen public who used to admire various genres of music but not kpop. BTS was the No 1 artist for 2 yrs in a row from IFPI (The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) representing the recording industry worldwide so its bigger the US Grammy. KPOP isn't really a genre. It more is telling that it is Korean group that are very skilled/trained in singing, dancing and over all performances. The music can cover many genres and styles. These people give their all and work so much harder than western artists and group.

You need to watch bts from the beginning how they started with a company that came close to bankruptcy couldn't get air time on shows because the company didn't have the funds to promote them x these guys worked so hard to be where they are now and it will be their 10 year anniversary next June since their debut but they have been together longer than 10 years x

The way they can do this first of all is a lot of rehearsal and practice. Second, just like all athletes, muscle memory has a lot to do with being able to remember the moves. Plus you have to remember they have over 300 songs, most of which have choreography.

I've been a fan of a lot of artists but I have to say that I never felt such strong connection and admiration like I do with BTS. They are really special! I think BTS story is a dream. Their music, lyrics and dance moves are incredible but the attitude and personality of the 7 members is something nice to see from a viewers pov. People always look at BTS success and think that they’re overhyped or overrated when these young men have been working hard for more than 10 years. The only reasonable reason why I think BTS have been publicly shame by idols and ceos in their early years is because of their attitude the members always believe that with their talents alone they would change the Kpop industry and they sure did. Think about it’s very low for grown up ceos having one sided beef with teenagers from a small broke company. I’m glad BTS are now seen as artist in Korea and not as simple idols they deserve it they’ve always been different since day 1

You seem like an authentic reactor, so I know we all appreciate that. Great job by the way. Boy, have you just fallen into the world's biggest rabbit hole with music from S. Korea. If you like rock, there are some GREAT rock bands from Japan as well (I know crazy). So for KPop - EXO is a beloved group - their songs, 'Monster' and 'Obsession' are really great. Stray Kids - 'God's Menu' is excellent. From Japan - BandMaid, One Okay Rock, Love Bites are exceptional groups. That should keep you busy for awhile. I'm subscribing because you seem genuine. Kpop isnt a genre of music. Its a industry and bts are barely kpop anymore. bts havent left for military yet. Only one member will be going this month. Theyre each releasing solo music / contents like solo live performances, solo interviews, tv shows etc before each member leaves. Theyll all be in military by 2024 to be back as a group by 2025. Bts do all genres of music and write and produce the music themseleves. All 7 members already had solo music before military announcemet but now theyre focusing on solo music until they get back together in 2025. Before they sparatically released solo music while releasing group music and touring etc and they said they still have a lot of group content theyll be releasing over the next few years just not group music.

"Black Pink are very into rap music ... BTS also rap." I find this comment so innocent regarding these two groups and rapping. 1. BTS debuted before Black Pink (so BP also rap). 2. BTS was formed around RM, an underground rapper. The 2nd member, Suga, was also an underground rapper, the 3rd member, j-hope, was a street dancer now rapper. (You could almost say BTS is 50% rappers as JK was a sub-rapper.) 3. Early BTS was a hip-hop group and very influenced by previous rappers, check out their song 'Hip-hop Lover'. 4. All the rappers write their own raps which have a lot of clever wordplay.
