"There wasn't a single water bottle in sight." yeah, IN SIGHT is the key part, i've noticed in several videos they have a drink off screen one way or another, they don't usually show them drinking, unless it's a behind the scenes, bloopers, or extended cut version, but they do often have water or something off screen.

Cindy's 71 year old Dad here. As someone who has had more drinks than he should have, the best cure is to not get hungover. Before going to sleep, drink at least a pint of water, tea, or soda. You won't be dehydrated thereby preventing the hangover. Take the word of one who knows. Also, I have chicken fillet on a half loaf of french bread quite often. Mayo, lettuce and onion for me, but never for a hangover. Learned something new. And we live in the U.S., so not just an Irish thing, TRYers.

I totally agree with this...but I'm hooked up wrong and have never been hungover in my life. For whatever reason, I'm perfectly fine the next day, no matter what I put away the previous night...I did wake up still drunk once, though (passed out on my front porch, woke up about 6 hours later in hospital, and still tried to leave to go to work while absolutely trashed).

@telebender I'm in Northern Ontario! My go to was while I was still drunk. We'd go to a gas station restaurant and order large breakfasts (my favourite was called the 'Lil logger'). I'd be about 90% the next day. I was also in my late teens and early 20s, so that could have been a part of it! My favourite day after/hangover food was cold piza, Cheetos, and a can of Coke or Pepsi. I couldn't eat much while hungover.

OMG Paddy "motorboating" the noodle dish , HYSTERICAL. Cure wise? Stay drunk or the alternative is a large glass of water with some salt to re-hydrate you (we are 98% water and hangovers are usually dehydration based) and never lay down when spinning.... wait till that stops and you are golden. Hangovers have a genetic component to them? Does it skip generations or did I get blessed with the extremely recessive trait (like you)? I once was so drunk I passed out for around 6 hours and woke up still absolutely three sheets to the wind...and no hangover whatsoever (I even tried to make my way to work...but the nurse and my dad didn't want me to move).

@@Alsebra I just assume it's genetic, though I have many siblings and I think I'm the only one with complete immunity (the others don't get it bad, though). Every once in a while I feel kinda gross or headachey, but then a glass of water immediately fixes it. Anyway I guess it's a double blessing since I didn't *also* get the alcoholic gene - what a horrible idea, an alcoholic without hangovers to slow them down. In any case, I never met another no-hangover person! Hi!

The Irish definition of Chinese food is hilarious. I think they'd be shocked by real Chinese food, or even the "mostly-Chinese" food we get here in the US. Also, sports/energy drinks are better for a hangover than just water, because they replenish the electrolytes (specifically salt) you peed out while drinking.

Yeah, I don't recall any Chinese restaurant in the States having any sort of curry. Curry to me is Indian, generally speaking.

I guess the equivalent of the "full Irish" here in the US is what we call a "Hungry Man" breakfast. They have some variation in diners. Its 2 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, home fries (skillet fried potatoes) and either a short stack of 2 pancakes or french toast. That used to be my go- to. Either that or corned beef hash and fried eggs with toast.

I'm too old for hangovers/drinking like a madman, but mine was: at first wake up (usually after two hours of sleep), chug a Gatorade and half a dose of ibuprofen, then go back to bed... never had another hangover after I started doing this.

My wife and I have Thai Food Truck in Florida. While she's never heard of Chicken Noodle Satay, we have chicken satay (meat on skewers) on the menu. Next time we overindulge I'll ask her to whip up some Pad Thai Noodles and toss in the chicken satay as well as ample amounts of peanut sauce.

Hey Try people - take that chicken filet roll, put some buffalo sauce over the chicken, cover the top in mozzarella cheese and bake that little gem until the cheese is nice and golden on top. Higher heat is better, that way the cheese bakes without drying out the rest of this lovely creation. You can thank me later.
