I didn't see any trouble or nastiness. Irish people have a right to celebrate their culture or heritage. Just respect the other side's right to do the same. Good to see folk learning to play an instrument and adding a bit of festivity. All praise to you. Mon 'eh Saint Mirren, btw., :)

difference is mate, the republican flute band were commemorating their loved ones going on hunger strike for their land to be free. the orange lodge sing about killing innocent catholics and is filled with hated.

The Kevin Barry band started off as a pretty decent band, only lasted a few years before they started declining rapidly for whatever reason.

Sadly, yes. Scotland's being torn apart by Scottish partitionists and Irish republicans who hate our unitary nation-state. They are a societal cancer.

Yes, Scotland suffers from an identity problem, its full of pro Irish and pro British people. Recently a lot of pro Scottish people are popping up though they want to be Scottish, not Irish or English. That's how it should be.
