So they just took the one I poured, poured it down the sink, then put it back in the cupboard after washing it while I was waiting for the machine to warm up. The movies are so much better than the books because all the characters experience so much character development, and there are so many heartwarming scenes like Greg and Roderick bonding in Roderick Rules, or Greg’s Dad forgiving Greg in Dog Days. But in the books all the characters are so deeply flawed it’s scary. Greg was an absolute sociopath, Manny was capable of murder, and Greg’s dad was always super depressed

As someone with 2 brothers of ages similar to the movie, I’ve never seen a movie as relatable. After losing my parents it feels really empty to watch it now, but even at that, it will always be one of my favorite movies of all time.
