Hey guys! Such and underrated isup channel and hidden gem! ..im sure yall heard about the recall of majority of blackfin models.. Some of us are getting the option to getting a replacement of what in stock between All around 10, 11 ultras o, 10 11 oh models and cruiser ultra model. As i dont consider any of these an upgrade our only other option is waiting 6 months plus for remodel blackfin xl. Which of the boards would yall recommend as a replacement from the list above ? All around ultras, cruiser ultra or og models AAs ?

exciting to have such a compact option and awesome that it includes the electric pump. to make the paddle shorter could you leave a section out?

Thanks soo much for this review. Ypu guys have made me decision of my first board to be iRocker!! My question to you guys is when it comes to my height of 5’6 and weight over 200lbs, which of the all around would i choose from, the 10’ or the 11’ ?

Yay, we're so exited for you! The 11' All-Around will have a bit more volume for you, and it's more stable/beginner friendly.

Thank you so much for your great review. I am 5’2 and 115 pounds and a beginner paddle boarder although I am an experienced kayaker. I am struggling between the all around 10´ ultra or the cruiser ultra. I am slightly worried about the possible lack of stability of the all around 10´ (being a beginner) but also worried that the cruiser might be to slow and or harder to paddle (because I am small)and I enjoy speed. Can you share your thoughts on that. Louise

Hey from Australia 🇦🇺 love your videos, they’re so insightful and helpful! Just wanted to ask how you’re finding the board a few months on? And do you think it’s worth the price increase in comparison to the original all around 10’? ❤
@supboardguide
@supboardguide Жыл бұрын
We're still having a blast on it and other than some normal scuffs from frequent use, it's holding up great. I think it's worth the price increase for the sheer aspect of it including an electric pump, and the portability of it is super hard to beat.

Thanks so much for this fantastic review! You mention a couple times that this board is good for a smaller paddler and that you like it because of your size, but it's hard to tell your height/weight in the video. Also, I'd love to have hear about a couple things related to the split deck. First, whether the offset carry handle gets in the way of foot placement or movement. Secondly, whether the split deck impacts comfort when you're sitting on the board.
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Amy, I'm 5'2 and about 135ish lbs. As for the carry handle, it hasn't ever gotten in my way; I'm continuing to keep an ear out though to see if anyone does eventually have issues with it. The split deck is still comfortable if your sitting on the board, it just feels a little different than a full deck pad.

hi Alli, thank you for the rewview. I was looking into either an irocker all around 10/11 or the atoll 11. I'm 5'6 intermediate level - when I noticed your review on the ultra. Alothough the compact/bag isn't as important (mostly drive up to location) I did like the newer tech and lighter weight/better tracking from the duo fins. With the lighter wieght and better speed/tracking - how would you compare it too the atoll that is also light (although in the case of the 10, - 1 foot extra). Thank you in advance. (ps. is this your goto board still?)
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
The Atoll is a great board, there's just a few key differences. The iROCKER 10' Ultra tracks better than the Atoll, and is a hair more maneuverable (as to be expected since it's 10' long vs. the 11' on the Atoll). That being said, the Atoll is definitely more stable than the 10' Ultra, while the 10' Ultra is a bit more responsive/rigid. Personally, I really love lightweight boards that I can easily travel with, which is why the 10' Ultra is my go-to travel board/fun board. The Atoll is honestly almost as easy to travel with, and is also pretty lightweight, so I wouldn't say those are major things to compare between the two, especially if the compact bag isn't super important to you.

Hi! I have the older iRocker 11' x 31" Sport which got minorly damaged (the patches for the rings, and handles peeled off) within a year so iRocker is sending me a 11' Ultra All-around (32" wide) and I'd have to send the Sport back. I'm worried that the newer board would not be as agile (fun). I can definite repair these minor issues. I'm 5'6" 146 lbs guy, intermediate skills. Would appreciate your input. Thanks in advance!
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
During our testing the 11' All-around Ultra came in a bit narrower than 32" wide; it was actually closer to 31" wide, so I don't thin there will be much of a speed difference. Maneuverability wise, the 11' Ultra isn't quite as quick to turn as the sport, but it's not massively noticeable unless you're constantly having to make quick turns, more common when paddling in winding rivers.

Hi I definitely know I want the ultra series but torn with which one to get I’m a beginner, 5’2” female 220 lbs. I’m pretty active and do enjoy the water. I don’t mind spending a little extra for longevity and durability. I want something for speed when I get better at this sport. What would you recommend

The Blackfin CX Ultra would be a great choice. We have a written review of it here: www.supboardguide.com/blackfin-cx-ultra-sup-review/ but to sum it up, it's stable enough to lessen your learning curve a bit but it'll still be pretty fast as your skills improve.

Hey Alli, thanks for the review! I’m 5’5 and have paddleboarded a few times on rented boards. I’m looking to buy my own first board and really like the sound of the All around ultras. Would you recommend the 10’ or the 11’. Looking to use them on both lakes, rivers and the sea. I’m generally pretty good with my balance but wouldn’t consider myself to be intermediate level yet. Thanks!
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
Either the 10' or 11' Ultra will work for you, it just depends what you like your board to feel like. The 10' Ultra is super maneuverable and sporty, with some better than expected tracking capabilities. The 11' Ultra has phenomenal tracking, is a little bit faster for most paddlers, and is slightly more stable than the 10' Ultra, though it's not as maneuverable.

@@supboardguide will IRocker start stocking iRocker Allaround Ultra 9" extra fins ? Sorry about that
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
@@lukalamarche748 Thanks for clarifying! We can't say with full certainty whether or not they'll start stocking them since we haven't communicated with them on this, but I'd bet that they will eventually, considering they've stocked extras for all of the other models' fins. If it's any consolation in the mean time, the Ultra fins are super hard to lose because of that locking tether.

how is the volume on the pump? the loudness I mean, is it quieter than the tiny orange pumps?
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
We haven't noticed a huge difference in loudness between electric pumps - they're all a little loud once they get into the second stage on inflation, though it only last for about 10-15 minutes.
@Sebastianandthedeepbluemusic
@Sebastianandthedeepbluemusic 2 жыл бұрын
@@supboardguide cool yeah the pump we have only has one stage, so there is no quiet stage. I am a sound engineer musician etc so I check the decibels with a meter and it is around 90 plus when next to the pump which is a damaging level for prolonged exposure. So I am on the hunt for something better haha. good to know it has dual stage.
@supboardguide
@supboardguide 2 жыл бұрын
@@Sebastianandthedeepbluemusic Interesting! We've been looking into getting a decibel meter so that we can actually quantify the noise rather than trying to figure out which pumps are louder by ear. Do you have a good meter recommendation?
@Sebastianandthedeepbluemusic
@Sebastianandthedeepbluemusic 2 жыл бұрын
@@supboardguide there are some decent meters for the iPhone , I use one called DB meter pro. I would buy the pro version. it gives you lots of good info in simple and complicated terms. says safe level or dangerous level and has a list of comparative volumes like a power tool or a car driving by. but problem with a phone is you have to be sure the mic is not compromised. it has been a while since I have compared the phone to an actual db meter. But I have a good sense for volumes and it seems to be at least ballpark accurate. if you want to go more extreme they have little measurement mics you can plug into the phone. But I would start with the phone as long as it hasn't been damaged and isn't in a super protective case like those water proof otter box cases because those will block the mic. or it you have a newer I pad in good condition that might be better because they get less real world damage like a phone.

Hi, Thank you for your revue. Can you clarify the situation with I Rocker ? Are they still in business ? They don't respond to phone, online chat, and did not answer my email. I got an all around 11 ft for my wife last Christmas, and she tried the board for the first time 3 weeks ago, and she lost two fins. The big one, and a small one. I tried to get in touch with them thru email, but like I said, no response yet after 3 weeks !!! We live in Canada, the summer is about to end, it would have been nice to get in touch with customer service, and order the replacement parts needed. The small levers to lock the fins are really weak, no wonder she lost two fins. I am so disappointed with this Cie. I really though it was one of the best. Thanks, George
