Quirky anecdote: I loved this song when I was super young. To the point where I blew my 7th grade history teacher's mind with a paper about Alexander. Because of this song, I read all I could about Mediterranean history and literature when I was young, and now have multiple degrees in Classics. In short, don't ever let anyone tell you metal doesn't broaden your mind. 🤘

I really enjoy your reactions to maiden.. Love seeing people discover their awesome music. If I may ask, could you consider reacting to what I would call their Swan song "Hell on Earth"? It's the last song on their (maybe) last album of a 40+ year long career... And its amazing!

In 1986 I was 18 and saw this tour, and I was at 'Live After Death' in Long Beach, CA for Powerslave. I also saw Paul DiAnno's band Killers the same year, where they only played Maiden's first 2 albums at a bar.

As a very long time Iron Maiden fan, I would have to restate that definitely try to avoid pausing during guitar solos. Other than that, I enjoyed your reaction. One other thing, if you can, react to live versions so you can get a much better experience. Rock on!

STOP. PAUSING. IN. THE. MIDDLE. OF. SOLOS! Otherwise, great reaction bro! And no, Steve Harris is not underrated. He is heavily rated by most metalheads as one of the greats.
