Iron Reapers Are Getting a Huge Buff - Conqueror's Blade

New PTR with balance changes to Iron Reapers, Xuanjia Heavy Cav, Myrmillones and Companion Cav.
Reapers:
- Using [Shock] and [Tiger's Guile] will reset the defense effect of [Very Heavy Armor], restoring it to 60% damage reduction.
Myrmillones:
- During the [Myrmillo's Guard] , damage taken is reduced by 30%
- The [Shield Wall] recovers 3% of health every 1.5 seconds instead of the previous 2% every 1.5 seconds.
- New trait [Brawler Shield]: Increasing Piercing , slashing and Blunt Defence by 15
points for 20 seconds while Myrmillones taked damage, stacking up to 10 times.
Upon reaching 10 stacks, it will get an additional 150 points of Piercing, Slashing, and Blunt
penetration for 20 seconds. This status duration cannot be extended during this process.
Companion Cavalry:
- +1 target hit on skills
- +10% more damage from hero aura
- Tightened formations
- Unit size increased by 2
- Storm Pound damage +12%
- Zephy Blade global cd reduced by 2s
Xuanjia Heavy Cavalry:
- The [Weapon Veteran] can be interrupted by the Startle the Horses effect of brace, arquebus and crossbow.

great changes I love myrmiliones , and they needed some love for sure , sad that they have stackable defenses while dying ... so when they will die , they will have maxed stack .. that doesn't work so well ... We will see then .. its good or not

You get it from infantry excavation. It's for blunt units only. It buffs their basic attack: every few s their basic knocks down enemy units and reduces their defences

So let me make sure I'm understanding this video correctly. The secret to using the Devastation Doctrine correctly is to have Iron Reapers switch to flail WHILE they're in battle, not switch to flail BEFORE you charge them into battle?

Nah, there is no secret. The flail switch is just an interesting side effect. You have to charge with flails anyways to get the bonuses.

@@Matthias-tc4ec It’s a special doctrine that was only available to excavate for a limited time, and it was meant for units that deal blunt damage as their main damage (Mace Sergeants, Tseregs, Iron Reapers, etc.). But really, Iron Reapers were the only unit that could truly use it effectively.

@@Alan-gt5lr Bro, thats not how you decide whether to nerf a unit or not ? how does it not sound illogical to you ? Wuwei totally wrecks most T4 units , you gonna ignore that compare it how it gets defeated by T5 units ? Wuwei stuns heroes, cc immune most of the time, heals , high dmg . I have easier time fighting or running from Lancelots even though they r stronger than wuwei

this game need graphic rework and compesistion too all mostly EU players who lost their account during the transition... also voice chat. since no more total War Arena this game could be huge... but me personally... they didtn recover my 200+ lvl account... and starting from strach seems ah...

I quit a few season ago because yyd cav destroying the game, and the new season was another cringe cavalry. How is my beloved paladin now? Was MAA and cringe cav meta finally passed?

yyd got overshadowed by xhc which is getting some kind of nerf now. Not sure it it will change anything. Althought we are getting new t5 pikes which may counter them. Infantry is mostly maa, wuwei, ipg and isg

Paladins suck ass lol. Cav is alwawys going to be good but they are much worse with the modao spam that's been going on
