They destroyed by lvl 29 iron reapers... and I was like WHAT?!

I dont remember the exact number of the % buff, but both MAA and SS got nerf to their cover commander ability. They used to get high damage and damage reduction buff while the ability is active. However, after the patch, the % buff will be continuously reduce while they are in cover commander. So it would be better to re toggle cover commander from time to time rather than toggle once and roaming around until they are all dead or you switch to other unit.

The cover commander upin activation gives you a 60 percent damage reduction, which continously goes down to 40 or 45. Once it gets to that point it stops going down. Not a big diff but before getting into a new fight I would suggest X- ing them and then popping cover commander.

Queen's Knights obliterated my lvl 29 iron reapers. I'm sure you can do it too somehow.

@ethanchen4504 It pretty much depends on how well the reaper player is. Good reaper player, dead knights. The same is true for palace guards

@@JeffVader123 All I did was charge them in, wait a bit, then use their second ability. HOWEVER, in the initial charge, 7 of my units died somehow. Idk where the damage came from.

@ethanchen4504 the knight's lunge deals a massive amount of dmg. Charge with flails, swap to sword, then you wanna get your reapers into Tiger step asap to prevent the knights from cc'ing your unit. You might be out of luck if the enemy is top line knights, so it's still 50/50

Yup oneshotted me through my units and I was standing 2 m away. Somehow was enough. Instant deletion without contact.

Until..you run the bottom line with def, speed and doctrine. Seems pretty fun and annoyin.

bottom line busts shields apart and can beat onna musha. you need to use your abilities in a rock paper scissors fashion. shield bash onnas to stun the hell outta of them, have killed many an iron reaper unit with bottom as well

From what i know, flail is better as a first contact, charge, and vs shield, the swords are good vs the rest since they have higher dps, so depending on the situation you will want to change the weapon, for example, you start with a flail charge damaging the enemies shields after they have no more block you switch to sword and go for their tiger step ability dealing a huge amount of damage. If you have full mastery iron reapers with middle line you can use more the flail.

But shouldn't golden shock buckler infantry shred purple ones? They should be direct upgrade. MAA are way overtuned. They do too much damage for a tabky unit.

Nah they got power creeped hard. MAA is superior in amy way except maybe pure charge damage.

They don't suck, bad doctrines and bot line, If he had ironsides and top line it would end better

They are actually good, but yeah MAA are just insane for 215 LS

@@Plumsion they should change it to like 240 ls or nerf dmg. I like them but it gets boring if they are the unit that is meta for few seasons now

They destroy MAA, only things that kills them is zweihanders and Imperial pikes advance
