Yeah the Star wars units seem to have a lot of trouble with destroying dreadnoughts

Love seeing the huge squads of battle droids rolling up and just filling the air with blaster fire. Even if blasters would only be as strong as lasguns that many projectiles could still harm a space marine especially if they start getting hit in the joints of their armor

I know you are trying to keep these encounters action packed but by the emperor add some dynamic cover around the barren kill zone areas.

I feel this is another case of a logistical win for the CIS as they killed several space marines and a dreadnought all things not easily replace by the Imperium despite how much action the space marines are shown in

Ehhhh Just one dreadnaught lost is fine alongside a couple battle brothers which can be replaced especially a dreadnaught. Now if it was first battle company worth of battle brothers and more than five dreadnaughts I would give cis a huge win logistically. For the apothecary can take the geneseed of fallen space marines and tech marines can salvage what they can from the fallen dreadnaught.

@@alpha-1redrighthand829 Space marines aren't easy to make even the basic ones it takes a lot of resources this is why geneseed is important the dreadnought being destroyed would be more about the loss of the tech. The worst danger would be the CIS getting samples of the imperial tech and then reverse engineering and then mass producing it to make new battle droids with ceramite armor and bolters or las weapons

The Imperium has made greater losses. And SM aren't that hard to replace. They fish in millions of people for recruits, maths dictates a certain amount of success (I think. I was always bad at maths). For the Imperium, the costs of a Victory don't matter unless it is of low relevance. Their form of warfare is highly ineffective and their logistics are horrible, but these losses are nothing major I am afraid.

@@rudatkatzn9171 You have a point still losing squads of marines to B1 battle droids is a big loss. That's like losing space marines to guardsmen with ballistic weapons and not the heavy ones either
